I am looking to use my mechanical hedgehogs (Shard and Shiro) in a sonic rp. Here is the plot
This takes place on earth,the mobian race has taken refuge on earth,some live with humans while others live in the streets. After Eggman was arrested by federal authorities,his machines went offline,except two, Shiro and Shard were still online and they are currently looking to find a place to stay. Since most mobians hate Eggman's creations,these two are basically outcasts.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
