Imagine you want to talk to someone on here or role play now but the other is taking forever to respond. What is one suppose to do?
If I haven’t, I’d send them a message just asking if they’re interested and there’s no rush to respond if they’re busy but that I just wanted to make sure. Usually I wait a couple of weeks to ask though. If I’ve already done that, I just kinda move on ha. If they respond they respond
That is how it goes sadly these days.

If you want to talk to someone in a chat sense, perhaps arrange that in advance rather than expecting someone to be perpetually responsive? Not all people have the ability to respond to messages in a short amount of time for a variety of reasons. Work, family, chores, errands, people-battery etc.
