Hey there, not sure if you're aware of this so I wanted to let you know in case you weren't.
When you change your name, everyone on your friends list gets a notification informing them you have changed names. If you had any rps going with people on your friends list, they'd be aware of your name change once they logged on. Anyone not on your friends list could theoretically notice the name change in pms.
Of course if you deleted an old account and created a new one, then there is no feasible way they'd know outside of this message.
