So here I am again with another overly complicated RP idea I'd like to try. It will need some setting up in PM before we start due to the nature of the RP, but after that it's smooth sailing. To answer a question I'm sure someone will have whether they ask it or not; yes, this is based on the concept of Hogwarts, but it is not based on the Harry Potter movies nor the school itself. This is a fantasy RP with low tech, most likely anywhere from the archaic and classical ages to the renaissance period. However, I'm very open to a mix of low tech and magic in the RP (ex- the Dwemer in Skyrim, the Gnomes and tinkerers in EverQuest2, etc.).

So what I thought would make for an interesting RP would be for our characters to RP as students at a school of magic that we, the players, create for them before hand. We'd know what spells and potions are there that they can create, and even what mysteries are in store for them to uncover. That said, it would probably work best if the characters were friends.

So what I'm looking for is a dedicated RP partner who can contribute ideas, plot, and energy to the plot. I'd like a minimum of one to two paragraphs, depending on paragraph size. I'm not looking for short responses and one liners, they force me to push the story myself more often than not.

Could a non-human join as a teacher as long as they can shape shift into a human form if needed?

Oh wow. That's a lot more responses than I anticipated! Are the four of you alright in an RP of 5 or would you prefer to break it up? Mind you, if anyone wants to break it up we can still build the school before splitting.

I apologize, I forgot to answer the question. You asked if a shape shifter was alright, correct? As a teacher? I suppose. I don't see anything wrong with it. Just note that being a teacher he/she won't always be around the students so they might not have as much to do. However, we still have to build the school so I can't say definitely how it could work. Simple answer, yes.

I think building the school would be a good place to start .
I personally would like to keep it as a group thing if that's what you're meaning. However it is your RP so I will comply with any decision made.

Well the character I have in mind is actually a kitsune not a shapeshifter, but she can take a human form. xD Also that's fine as I assume she would be able to talk more the the faculty.

I don't think we can go further without building the school! Although it would be interesting to see our characters wondering around, confused at where the school went.
