Well, guess I should introduce myself as the checklist suggests, huh?
I'm new to this site but not quite so new to Roleplaying. I'm 19, British and always looking for a good RP or a good chat with whoever will talk to me! The bare basics of my character Nathaniel Tynian have been around for some four or five years now, and over the years I've altered, improved and expanded both him and his backstory. The backstory expansion has gotten to the point were it is more of a world-building exercise that, perhaps one day, may lead to a short story or a small novel. Nate and his world is constanty evolving, though the actual character himself remains relatively stable with few drastic changes.
Nate is a very complex guy, former royalty who lost everything to war three centuries ago, born of an ancient proud civilisation that is now little more than ruins and half-forgotten tales and scattered refugees and slaves. He has wandered the world, seeking out new lands to explore, new people to ally himself with, waiting for a time when his kind have grown strong enough to survive any kind of serious attempt at retaking their homeland. Depending on his moods and how people treat him he can come across as either a stoic, quiet, cold individual or a polite, though slightly withdrawn man. His dreams every night are plagued by nightmares and memories and that often lead to bouts of insomnia and depression. Despite all of this he can be a very nice guy when you get to know him.
A word of warning to fools and fighters; three centuries of war and training have made him a master, an artist with the two swords he bears and he is a very dangerous foe to face, and any defeat he suffers will be learned from... and revisited upon his enemies a thousand fold.

Hey Terel! Your characters seem really interesting! I'm glad you've found the Repository! I hope you enjoy it here, it's personally my favorite little corner of the internet.

I RP in Furcadia sometimes and I also RP at a place called Multiverse Roleplaying under the name Tsurani, which was a forum created by a group of guys who used to do their own sci-fi RPs in the forums of the game Sins of a Solar Empire. Although I've not been able to RP there lately as I lost my internet 2 years ago and since then my RPing there went patchy, I stopped RPing there for a little while when I started university but now my account is deactivated automatically and I can't contact the admin to get it fixed.
MRP as a site is pretty good and welcoming, but since it was only a small group at the start, the years have taken their toll and the place is starting to fade off a bit, which is a real shame. I'm hoping maybe once I get back on it I can tell a few of the guys about RPR, who knows, they might even join up too!
