It is akin to a rite of passage for all magicals, and you could only wonder what sort of familiar would you get. Drawing up the summoning circle, chanting those words that you have repeated more than a hundred times before this day, and dropping that single drop of blood onto the circle... you soon came face to face with...

A late bloomer, that is what they call you, but you are beyond tired of it at this point. Being older than your peers by nearly five years really did no good to your self esteem but finally, after much pleading, you were allowed to summon your familiar alongside peers your age- this is your only chance to regain your lost pride. There was a snap, a bang and the next thing you knew-

You are standing in the summoning realm, with what is supposed to be your familiar staring down at you.

A no-name street urchin working a pitiful job with meager salary has absolutely no hope of ever studying the magic that you are oh-so-fascinated with. One day, while dragging your feet across the road with your worn shoes, you just so happened to come across a summoning circle etched on parchment paper. Overexcited, you immediately attempted the summoning...only that, you are not a student, and has no way of knowing the proper way to summon a familiar, so you end up with something...quite sinister as a familiar.
