These past couple of months, you may or may not have been wondering where one of your copper-plated moderators disappeared off to in such a hurry. (And if you haven't that's totes okay.)
Well...after being waylaid by retail holiday insanity...
After spending years caretaking extended family...
After some very pressured but needed motivation...
I have moved into my own place!!
That's right! The Copper Dragon found her own lair, for the first time in her life! And lemmie tell you, it feels amazing. AND terrifying! And less stressing! I squeezed my stuff into a Mazda hatchback and drove a few hours back to my hometown--which had grown a ton, by the by.
My hoard also took a hit buying furniture because I OWNED NOTHING! I am currently typing this from a deceptively comfy lawn chair in the living area.
So if you needed something & caught me mid-moderation-vacation (which I am still on
), thank you for your patience and understanding! I hope your holidays were swell, and your New Years was awesome!

Time to decorate that lair with some much needed goodies! Bright colors are always fabulous! Neutral grays, purples, and lacks are also great pieces for the "bulkier" furniture with all the color pops going into the little details. It may take time to reach a substantially colorful home, but you can do it!

I'm a little ways past that stage of my life now. (... that makes me feel like I should be saying 'get off my lawn!') But I look back on those early days of just starting out fondly. Had a $20 folding table and two camp chairs for kitchen furniture. And if one of those chairs sat close enough to the window, one could sit there and pick up the neighbor's unsecured wireless internet connection. LOL.

Congratulations on the independence! Well sort of....now you're a slave to bills, taxes, and other laws and regulations the rest of us are Haha. But at least you can live your life (mostly) on your own terms!

@PrettySir - I'm already master planning colors! Salmon/teal or turquoise dining area (matches plateware I was gifted; light greens & blues in living room; purple & silver in bedroom-- in fact, I'm expecting my purple paisley bedding to come in today!
Edit: bedding arrived, and it is gloriously colorful and soooooft!
@Juls - Aw thanks for the congrats! For a few days until some of my furniture came in, I was using both patio chairs as seating/table. Even now I have a couple of pieces sitting in the dining room that are not yet assembled, because it's a two-man job.
it's kind of hilarious looking, but at least I have somewhere to put a coffee cup soon.
@Ben - Thanks, man! I know we've chatted on discord already, but I am super excited for this space of my own.
@Voldarian_Empire- Hah, yeeeah, I've already been paying hundreds in rent/insurance policies. %D Yaaaay adulting!

@Dunedain-Ranger- Well, I'm not yet back to my proper paying job yet (uugh scheduling blues), so I have had some spare time to do a little moderating. ^^' But thank you for the congratulations! No hard feelings, I hope?
@SexySultryBabe- And thank you! Was said a rat a pet or a pest? One of my good school friends had a couple of pet rats, and they were pretty cute!

It was my cheating ex fiance he was a cheating rat🐀🐁🐁. But things are getting better every day.
