Hey! so I'm looking for about 2-3 people for a horror survival rp. The basic premise is this:
a fog settles over the city one day. Not so strange, except that it lingers, and lingers, and lingers. Except that it gets denser and denser as the days go by. So dense you can barely see the other side of the street. Eventually, it blots out even the sun - or whats left of it. The days have been getting shorter and shorter, until there was scarce any day at all. And then, abruptly, communication from the outside world is cut off. Nobody knows how, or why. the internet is gone and the phone lines are dead. People are advised to stay indoors.
Then the monsters start appearing. The city descended into chaos after that.
Amidst the horror, a small band of strangers bands together. To help each other survive, To search for answers, and to, if they're very lucky, maybe reverse whatever this is.
Any characters would have to be human, since this is, for the most part, set in the 'real world,' but other than that there aren't any restrictions. This is a horror rp also, so it's likely to get dark. My general preference as far as literacy goes is 1 to 2 paragraphs, but I'm not super fussy, if you want to go longer or shorter that's fine!

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.

Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.

While most of my characters are demons (because that's the best excuse I could find to give them tails, lol), I could make one human for the purposes of this roleplay!

haha, I definitely know that feel, most of MY characters are fairies or angels because I like cool wings.
I'm glad! I will say though, I'm not totally adverse to human characters that are maybe, not entirely 'normal'? when I first conceived of this rp years ago, on another forum, one person was playing a character who had this strange ability - I think it had something to do with fire? -that they didn't really understand, and it became part of the larger mystery. If you wanted to do something like that I wouldn't necessarily be opposed.

Could I keep my trend of giving my characters tails, then, lol? Like, if you've seen Blue Exorcist(Rin's Tail), or Avatar(Na'vi Warriors)...Normally I give my characters each a tail like that. I feel like it makes them much more expressive.

Yeah, perhaps it appeared, like, while he was on a roadtrip near whereever the mist started. So he's kinda used to it by now, but still extremely confused cause its abnormal.
