I'm considering making an RP group with the group feature on the website, but before I go out on a limb I think I'll test the water a bit.

The premise is simpleish;

A large-ish town in the middle of some obscure nowhere, though clearly far north as the winters are cold and nearly never stop raining, and the summers are only hot to the people who have lived there since birth. It has it's own elementary, middle and high school; each more chaotically run than the latter. As such people in the town, especially those who have lived there long term can be rather eccentric.

And with eccentricities come secrets. So of course, you as an average teenager have decided to meddle.


TL;DR : Town full of weird people. Most of the plot would revolve around the school age teenagers, so we'd be stuck with High school stuff, though knowing how high school RP's go, there won't be a LOT of lingering there.
Despite being set mostly around the school, I would really love to flesh out the actual town. It's far more fun and interesting when more than one person plays the townfolk. So maybe a mixture of kids and adults going about their lives.

Also I can't make up my mind whether or not to have non-human characters. Ie, werewolves, angels, nymphs. So if you are interested, put in a vote.

Hm, this actually sounds interesting... I'd have to make a new character for it I think, since the most eccentric character I own happens to be a thousand year old feline alien xenoanthropologist and my human teenage characters happen to be monster hunters...

Hmhm... maaaybeee.... I could just do a few little (major) alterations to my xenoanthropologist and make her an eccentric middle-aged human...umm... academic of some form. Anthropologist in the middle of nowhere? Sure, why not?

It's a good thing I already have an idea of what Tara would be like as a human, as she has often had to go undercover in her line of work and use a holographic projector to take on the appearance of aliens, mostly humanoid ones. I'll get working on a separate profile for her as a human.

Okay, so I've added a page to Tara's profile for her information as a human (Or her cover-identity as a human if nonhuman weirdness creeps into the town)

There's not much different besides a change of appearance and her best friend not being a de-militarised War AI.

I want to get an idea of the characters before I finalise any real ideas yet.

Mostly would include; SUPERNATURAL/FANTASY CHAOS if anyone was interested in that bit. Which I think we may have ONE instance of this interest.
Or more likely, underworld crime stuff, high school dramas.

I prefer to socialise a little with characters in a general "casual" kind of rp so that we can help establish basic relationships. Like calm before I start ruining everyone's lives.

When more people join in, I'll make a quick world building post in the ooc forums so I can make sure everyone gets what they want out of this group.
