This is a newer play, but I am riveted by this character. The absolute complexity. My character really has to keep his wit sharp and his instincts on point when around her. Edward is charming, complex and mysterious in a way that makes you want to learn more, but that being said he is still interesting as the man he portrays himself to be on the surface as well. If you want a different angle on a modern supernatural story this is the character you need. Leave behind your vampires and werewolves they're too familiar and not intimidating enough. Nova is one of the most hilarous son-of-a-guns that I've ever had the pleasure of writing alongside with, and it's for the most unique reasons too. While most people wouldn't want to be in the same room with a cool bigwig corporate man, Charlie has managed to make him so charming, quirky and downright lovable that you just wanna hear more of him instead. Yivrul and his associates are portrayed by a very talented writer who knows drow. Never mind the modern happy go with a contented life, that's not a drow! Males are victimised, ridiculed, and regarded as insignificant even by drow who pursue a less corrupt life.

A tough lady with a heart of gold, Charlie is every bit the kind of character that you want in your corner. There’s too much for me to say about Julian, honestly. I mean, aside from being portrayed by the absolute HEARTTHROB that is Ewan, he’s a wonderfully in depth character that you can’t help but get invested in. He’s morose and tired and troubled, but only because he’s always trying his best in a world that is determined to make everything harder. Emma is an absolute sweetheart. She's kind, generous, and doesn't let the world bring her down - even when it seems like maybe that's all that the world is willing to do. Even from just looking at her profile, you can tell that Starla is ...difficult. She's challenging and in your face. Her words cut like knives and she's absolutely not afraid to go for your weak spots with the precision of a sniper - but it's all for good reason. Her writer claims she's meant to be horrible, but to me she's anything BUT.
