RP prompts may be complete plot ideas, a single situation, a character, a feeling, a challenge, or even a photo to use as inspiration. Start a new RP to play them out, or use them to add a twist to an existing RP. Modify them, take inspiration from them, or use them as is!
It should have been a simple scouting mission. Do a visual reconnaissance of the chosen landing site. Take a few barometric readings. Collect soil and fauna samples. The usual. Instead there's an unexpected malfunction. The small landing pod plummets from the air, crashing in a pile of smoke and ash. One of the crew is injured. You have only minimal medical supplies, some basic scientific equipment, the remains of the shuttle and not much else. Worse than that, the main ship isn't responding to hails despite the fact that as far as anyone can tell the communications equipment is still functioning... -Suggested by Dndmama
