Posted by Kim on November 13, 2022, 9:00amIt just got a bit easier to place widgets on character or group pages that make use of columns, with a new "Add widget" button at the bottom of every single column that will drop your new widget directly into that column, rather than always just dropping it into the last column on the page and making you drag it around.
Plus, the number of widgets allowed per page on both character and group profiles has been increased from 15 to 20.This is our first increase in number of widgets per page since 2020, when it was raised from 10 to 15. I paused there to see if we had reports of browsers crashing should people make novel-length pages. Browser crashes due to over-long pages was a big problem about 10 years ago, but it seems that it is drastically less likely with modern devices. The lack of issues for the past two years has emboldened me to creep the number up once again. And what with our ability to design character profiles using all kinds of columns, more widgets are always needed to make those fancy layouts!
Happy character profile designing, friends.
