From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

I was glad to see Sam giving back to the RPR community with a raffle to win limited addition items. Even better, I was impressed with the creativity of making this an in-character event with a writing prompt instead of just a random die roll where users won something based on chance. Big Blue here has my heart, though I’m not sure I can be sure she wouldn’t gobble it up like a cupcake. Sam’s take on a monstrous sea beast is one of the most interesting I’ve seen so far; combining the animalistic with the intelligent, it makes for an intimidatingly adorable mix. Even if Blue can’t be measured by our moral standards, she sure is a lovable ol’ hunk of muscle. Got no idea how this total gem of a person managed to fly under my radar for so long, but hot diggity damn am I glad to have found this kickass writer & homie! A very diverse, well written and interesting character lineup - check. A fantastic writer, who pushes the plot along, provides long posts with a tinge of humour - check. Sammiches is my favorite cheerleader. I cannot overstate how kind and wonderfully supportive they are. I'm so happy that I got the chance to meet them because as a client they are a delight to work for, but they're even better as a friend. They have some super duper cool characters, and they dove into the RPR community in earnest. I love seeing them so active in all of the events. I adore Samiakki's energy and characters! There is an untold amount of effort that goes into their posts, from the format of their profiles to each character portrait in each reply. I see it and give it mad respect. We have yet to play XIV together and I hope to someday! Sam is someone I've known now for a few years and despite being a great friend of mine, they are extremely creative and know how to match passion with passion. Sam is a great player! Our planned storyline is only just beginning and already I'm so drawn into it I'm imagining future scenarios and literally looking foward to when my characters will meet the rest of their cast! And I love how creative their characters are; each has their unique mindset, and richly tailored and believable past that brought them together. I'm so curious and hyped for the adventures that await them!
