From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Dragonfire has always seemed like a kind soul, even though we don't interact a whole lot. In particular, she always takes a very active role in Epic Week, helping to coordinate efforts to guide the community toward victory! Sometimes that's generally providing info and discussion space, sometimes that's spending a great deal of time puzzling out riddles and codes. Dragonfire makes for an amazing ally! I admire Dragonfire's steafastness and no-nonsense approach to life. Her sense of humor is wonderful and I'm super impressed with how her brain works to figure out even the most challenging puzzles, whether that is sorting out a confusing moderation situation or participating in events. If I could do it all over I'd befriend her again in a heartbeat.

This lady right here is amazing. I have not had the pleasure of RPing with her, but during our 6th Epic Week event she was so helpful, even managing to solve clues and riddles for things she wasn't even a fan of! I don't know how we could have gotten through epic week without her
