From the Greek word meaning "glory," a kudos is acclaim for exceptional achievement or qualities.
On the RP repository, receiving a kudos means that another community member recommends you as someone other people might like to get to know. Perhaps because you are exceptionally fun to RP with, exceptionally fun to know, or are just plain exceptional!

Here we have the perfect example of a powerhouse! Shining Serpent of the Sun is not a character you want to mess with! Yet despite that, Serpent is a humble character. That is very comendable, and only one of the many things that makes her a joy to interact with. She's expertly played as you would expect, being Earendill's creation. Ulrin Lightbringer is a very multisided character played by a pretty awesome player. There's more to the sorcerer than meets the eye, and he's more than interesting enough to want to find out more about him.
Even more awesome though is the way he acts, he acts and feels like a true person and that is the true power of Ulrin. The character can be selfish, and petty, but also jolly and kind. I've loved every RP I've had with him and can't wait to have more. Kudo's to Ropeman. - XinonHyena -

Earendill has very interesting characters, each with a distinct background and personality. I absolutely love RPing with him because he really brings the scene to life, and makes his characters so life-like that I get quite caught up in the scene! I've always wanted to play a magician or some sort of character with magical abilities! It also seems so complicated. Earendill has put in some great descriptions and details when it comes to Ulrin's chaos magic. The details he has put in for his characters 'Transformation' gives me a good idea what the character goes through and what he becomes. - Dylan

Aaah Ulrin. This chaos wizard of epic proportions has got to be in the top list of my favorite characters of all time. I've seen him go through everything from marriage to family to werewolfism-- and let's not forget his shows of heroics with rope at the times you need 'em most! To top it all off, he does so with a magical and scholarly flare that's always a joy to watch and even more fun to interact with!

Ulrin is one of those characters who earns his keep through the trials and tribulations of RP. I remember when he first started: a simple, humble young character at the gates of Northkeep. Then he became a librarian. And got married. And was bitten by a werewolf. And became ROPE MASTER. All these things define his character, and they were all EARNED. - Ilmarinen
