Well, here I am, and feeling guilt-tripped by the bull in a cap and robe, here is my introduction.
There's really not much I'd like to say about myself-- I mean... again, maybe it's just me, but I find it insanely hard to say things about myself without being prompted by questions. So I'll follow the template questions!
Q: Favorite kind of RP?
A: I have always loved, and still very much love the Fantasy and Sci-Fi Genres. Of course those aren't the only two I'm for, but they are by all means my default. Being an improvisational writer, I feel I can write in just about any Genre given the allowance to create my own character for it. That's my one weakness-- I'm not very good and writing pre-established characters.
Q: What do you hope to find here?
A: I don't know! Mainly a place to easily stash my characters-- I have way too many and have yet to find a really simple yet elegant way to have them all in one place. I found this place, and it's by far the closest thing to a solution I've found. I'm also aware that there might be RP opportunities hosted right here on the site-- which is something I'll try to dip into later! Right now, all I want from this site is a place to host my giant clan of characters in a way that offers them each a custom and comfortable home.
Q: How long have you been RPing?
A: Since I was introduced to the wonderful world of Cringe(tm) which was Neopets. So, age 7 or so. That's the earliest memory I have of Roleplaying and the memory is enough cringe to last me several lifetimes.
Q: Do you have any pets?
A: I had a dog when I was younger, and more recently an Angora mix named Spooky - She was my therapy cat and when I became homeless I had to leave her behind with someone who I hope is taking good care of her. So no, I do not have a pet right now but I hope to obtain a Service Dog at my earliest availability.
Q: Favorite subject in school?
A: I've graduated college, so no more school for me until I decide to go back. Throughout school, though, my interests were always in Art and Science.
Q: What do you do for a living?
A: I currently work helping take care of my mother.
Q: What are your hopes and dreams?
A: Many things, most unobtainable.

If you're looking for a place aside from here to stash characters, I'd suggest Charahub. You can store a hundred OC profiles there right off the bat; more if you get new members to referral you when they sign up.
Also, I'm really sorry you had to leave your cat behind...it sucks to get separated from your pets.
