So far we have "The reason for contact", which I think might be the reason for the surface dweller/outsider/eventual Ambassador coming into the underground

The Beautiful Bird's third clue is: A foe we’ve faced before
Hrrrm. The interview with the ambassador seems to hint at things from the stars. Maybe the spacefaring aliens we've fought?

So I'm pretty sure this is referencing our foes from Epic Week 2017, the Xenobeasts. Possibly the Imperial Xenobeast?

For those of you wondering how this answer could be arrived at, here's a quick explanation.
I admit this one was tricksy, as it calls back to lore from previous Epic Week plots. In an interview with the Drumbeat, Ambassador Aarqeil says that their people have made something "so grand that they have drawn eyes from beyond the stars. We are hastening to hide the greatest of our inventions from strange creatures who would misuse them." Aarqeil's people need the power from darkshine crystals to create a method of hiding their invention from the strange creatures from beyond the stars.
The foe from beyond the stars that the RPR has faced before were called the Xenobeasts (One translation for Xeno is "strange.") In our encounters with the Xenobeasts, we've seen that they 1) have a habit of trying to conquer and devour entire planets, and 2) take a fairly unethical approach to technology, including the cybernetic experiments they inflicted on our old friend the Many Headed Cyborg Dragon. The cyborg bit, as we know, is thanks to the Xenobeasts, although she/she/he/it did eventually manage to escape them.
Although not essential to solving this riddle, another lore tidbit of note is that the only other place we've seen these crystals that bestow temporary super powers through proximity was in 2019, in a labyrinthine pocket dimension built to act as one giant test to make certain the people who found the tech at the end of it were worthy. The portal to even access it had been sunk to the bottom of the ocean, and we had had to go on a separate adventure to recover THAT in 2018.
Bonus points for anyone who remembers what the tech actually was that we found in the labyrinth.

Yup, they had invented time travel, then immediately realized it was a MISTAKE and tried to hide it from everyone
