Aiko was scared if Graces grandmother, she could do anything to her.Hit him, slap him, anything, and he couldn't do a thing, even if he had his sword.Aiko looked at Antoine then at the Mistresses grandmother, "yes ma'am.Me and the Mistress were just dancing as friends.." he said.It killed him inside to say that, but he had to lie at this point.
The old woman calmed down a little bit, but only by a little. She was still obviously infuriated with him though. "Well, I guess there's no harm in that. But I still don't like the fact that the two of you seem a bit close. After all, if I found out you two were in love I'd probably have to kill you ans have all memories of you erased from her mind." The elderly mistress dropped that news really hard on the young butler.
Aiko looked at Graces grandmother, he looked down and shook his head, and but a hand on his chest, and bowed slightly, "I assure you, I am nothing more to the mistress than a mere Butler" he lied.Man, never had he spoken so many lies in his life.He may have to wash his mouth out with soap later.That information hit him really hard, but he managed not to show it.No, he couldn't show it...
Grace suddenly ran past the three of them with Douglas following close behind, but he stopped to talk to them. "I wish she couldn't run faster than me. I didn't do anything wrong." Douglas looked at aiko. "Butler, go fetch your mistress for me." He commanded, a hint of annoyance and envy in his voice. (Your turn again in dark carnival.)
Aiko stopped with his bowing, being sure to keep his hat on of course.Only a second later the mistress ran past them, then he looked at Douglas.What did he do ow...? he wondered.He blinked when Douglas told him to do..but he couldn't deny it..."Yes sir..." he said, and ran after the mistress, holding his hat rim with one hand so it wouldn't fly off.
Grace ran towards a balcony, looking to hide from the looks of it. She was getting close when she heard aiko close behind her, but didn't know it was him.
Since Aiko could run quite quickly when he wanted to, he managed to catch up to her.He pulled his hat down further on his head, and reached out and grabbed the mistress by her shoulders, stopping her.Stopping them both.."Its me mistress" he said..
"Let go of me, please!" She screamed, tears from her eyes falling to the floor. "Don't touch me Douglas!"
"Its me mistress" Aiko said.He wasent Douglas.."What happened?" He whispered to the mistress.They were quite far from the other three.
Grace pulled him out on the balcony and closed the door behind them. "He tried to kiss me! On the lips! Who does he think he is?!" Grace asked angrily, forgetting she was engaged to Douglas as of now.
Aiko was surprised when she just pulled him out onto the balcony..His eyes widened a little, when she said that Douglas had tried to kiss her.Then he looked down, his eyes hidden behind his black bangs.."I can't help you there" he said shaking his head.He didn't look up.He was hiding the ain that lurked in his eyes.Tonight, was hurting him...
Grace grabbed him again and brought him close. "Aiko, I don't care anymore. I love you, and I can't let anyone take me away from you or you from me." Against her better judgement, grace kissed him on the lips.
Aiko had grew quiet, but he looked up when the mistress kiss him on the lips.It made him feel a little better.It just to be safe, rather then pulling away, he reached his hand towards the door.Locking it from the outside.
Grace smiled at him. "Good idea, smart kitty." She complimented and then got back to kissing him.
He smiled at her.It was the best choice, now nobody could spot them kissing.He kissed her back.He couldn't take it anymore.
Grace released him from The kiss for a second. "If she hadn't Come and brought Douglas we would've been having more fun by now."
"Why does she went you to marry him off all the people in the world?" He asked..."whatever happened to Happily Ever After?"
Grace shrugged and began to do an impression of her grandmother. "We need you to get married and have kids with someone of the social elite so we can not only keep our place as a rich family, but to keep the bloodline going." Grace looked down at her shoes and went hack into her normal voice. "That's what I've been told since my family died. I'm the youngest member of The family right now and shes wanted me to have kids since I was around age eleven."
Aiko looked down, that must stink.He looked down even more, that made him even more of a bad boyfriend, it wasnt like he and the mistress could ever get married.She probably have to marry a human...otherwise she'd have kids with cat ears running about.He wasent part of their bloodline either..he just be a bother..man, this situation stunk.
