Multi-girl took the sack and set Davi down. There was a sudden beeping, before a red flash as Multi-girl shrank back down to her human form, now standing a bit shorter than Davi. "Why'd your clothes change?" Copycat asked. "Huh? They didn't I did-" Multi-girl said, looking down to herself. Indeed her suit had changed. It was no longer a short dress and tights, but a form fitting body suit. The upper chest and arms were a shiny black material, as were the legs up to just above the knee. The shiny material continued on the outside of her thighs up to her hips, where as the rest of the suit had the white rigged cloth texture. The shiny material flared out into a loose scarf-like collar, with the white material continuing up the neck into the cowl she now wore. The cowl itself was the shiny material, and left her hair out. Around her waist was an integrated utility belt. "Huh..." Multi-girl said, holding the omnitrix up. It was no longer a watch, but integrated into the back of her glove. It had tubing running out of it and down around her wrist. It gave off a slight red glow, as did the Omnitrix itself. Similar tubing connected what looked to be a sort of back pack to her suit.

She looked to Copycat. "You said earlier the two guys you saw with your dad worked with Rupert Thorne?" Multi-girl asked. Copycat nodded. "Yeah. I know their names too." She said. "Alright, I'll visit Thorne later tonight. But first, we're running you by GCPD." Multi-girl said, looking to Davi. She reached to one of the 'pouches' of her belt and tapped it. A small green beam emitted from it, reforming a control of some sort in Multi-girl's hand. "Neat." She said, pressing a button. "We gotta run him by GCPD? I mean if these things are family heirlooms, no reason they shouldn't be given to next of kin." Copycat said.

"Assuming he's telling the whole truth. We don't know this guy, there's no guarantee he's actually related to Hex and Charmcaster. And assuming he is, there's no guarantee this isn't some plan for them to bust out of Arkham and Juvie." Multi-girl replied. "And from what I was told, last time Hex tried anything, Batman had to call in the Justice League to help stop him." She added.

Davi cowered back into himself when they began to talk about sending him to the GCPD.
"You know she is right we really shouldn't bother them with such a trivial matter. Besides aren't there these weird things running around? I'd imagine someone of your renown would want to focus on those." He smiled as casually as he could. Then he was met with the comment questioning his relation. "If I'm not related why would I have gone to the trouble of getting those seemingly inconspicuous things and not something, well more valuable looking? But if you want more proof I'm related in some way." He paused. Clasping his hands together he seperated his middle and index fingers opposite one another. He spoke a small incantation in a low voice as a purple energy flickered between his fingers. A small purple orb with a strangely fluid like look formed. He flicked his fingers and like a solid bubble it bounced and hit Multi-girls face. It burst and left a small glow that quickly faded. "Ta da." He says reaching for the bag.

"Inconspicuous?" Multi-girl questioned. "That thing was shooting lightning bolts and lasers when Hex used it." She added, placing her hands on her hips. She jumped when the magic was used, getting into a fighting stance, before the bubble burst in her face. She gave Davi a look. "Well I mean if he's family can't he technically just collect that stuff?" Copycat asked. Multi-girl opened her mouth to reply. She paused. "Well... I mean..." She stuttered. "Technically they were used in a crime and confiscated as evidence." Multi-girl said after a moment. "Yeah a crime that was already tried." Copycat replied, giving the staff and bag to Davi. "Besides he looks trustworthy." She added.

"Looking trustworthy, and being trustworthy are different." Multi-girl said. "Well you trust me and I occasionally ste-" Copycat began, before getting a look from Multi-girl. "Used to steal." Copycat corrected. "Look what I'm trying to say is, if he took those things to get them to Charmcaster and Hex, he probably already would have. I mean, not exactly like Arkham's easy to miss, and a quick search online and you can find where Juvies at pretty easily." She explained. Multi-girl looked from Copycat to Davi.

"More importantly, he's got a point. We should probably worry about those brain guys a bit more than him." Copycat added. Multi-girl thought. "On the topic of the brain guys, why were they attacking you?" Multi-girl asked.

A sigh of relief left him. He nodded as Copycat defended his position. But then got a look of confusion. He tapped his chin after putting the items away.
"Well I don't know. I was just in some old hut, practicing a simple spell to see if it all worked. And suddenly there were voices, I think you two. Then from the doorway these creatures burst in and began spitting at me." He looked to his socked foot, soaked through and filthy. His eyes traced the ground and a few meters away he spotted his shoe. He went over to retrieve it. Filing away the goo with a stick. "They attacked me first I had never seen those things before. And frankly I don't plan on sticking around too long for them to try me again.

Multi-girl was quiet. "And at least two of those guys are goons who work for Thorne..." She said. The sound of engines was heard as the leaves on the trees began to shake, intensifying as the sound grew closer. The trees split, with several branches snapping off as a boxy ship landed. Its plating was black and white. "When did you get a ship?!" Copycat asked. "Jealous? Got it while I was off world." Multi-girl said. She looked to Davi. "C'mon. Thorne's one of the biggest mob bosses in Gotham. You'll probably be safer sticking with us." She said. "Plus I'm still not entirely sure you won't try and break Hex and Charmcaster out." She added.

"Yep, you're definitely Batman's kid." Copycat muttered, before heading onto the ship.

As the air blew around rapidly and branches were tossed aside Davi was knocked to his rear. He looked up at the ship and failed to contemplate the shere insanity of his situation.
"You went off world? Are you an alien too? What's up with this weird city. Why would anyone come to this mad house?" He asks putting on his shoe with some residue remaining. The comment about him breaking his family out was met with a huff. "If I wanted to do that I'd have done so already. I have no interest in breaking either out. Better of where they are anyway." He huffed at this statement. A wince at the ship. "So what. I'm just being detained by you two now?"

"If that's what you wanna call it. It's mostly wanting to keep you safe from Thorne." Multi-girl replied. "Look, if you're planning to leave Gotham, and those aliens work for Thorne there's no way he isn't going to hear about it." She began. "And if they were chasing after you, chances are you may have over heard something they want to keep under wraps." She said. "Or at least they might think you did." Copycat added.

Multi-girl boarded her ship. It wasn't particularly large, about the same size as the interior of an RV. It was a bit more spacious however, given its wider shape. The floor and walls had grey wooden panels. The front of the ship had the rather obvious pilots seat. In the center was a table surrounded by a round sofa-like seating area. The back wall had a three indents with beds in them, about twin sized. There was a cooking area as well. Against the wall opposite to the entrance was a terminal of sorts.

Multi-girl went to the terminal, as Copycat stepped on, looking around. "Y'know I figure the inside would've looked more... alien." She said. "Well, did some rearranging when I came back to Earth." Multi-girl replied.

"I won't pretend to know who this Thorne guy is. But you have a point. As much as I don't want to those things may still want me." A chill ran through his spine. Next time he'd just stick in his lane. At least that's what he was told. He grimmaced at the thought as he looked at the bag. Guess he got the last laugh. He smirks and walks into the ship. The interior was unexpected. Looked more like a camper van than anything. Less like a ship he'd expected.

"So are you guys also aliens or monsters or whatever? I've never known shapeshifting to be a common human trait." He took a seat on the round siting area. Feeling cosy as he poked around.

"She's an alien, but I'm not." Multi-girl said, going to the terminal. A few moments after the three boarded the ship, the entrance closed. "Okay, the two guys who came for your dad. Do you know their names?" Multi-girl asked, looking to Copycat. She nodded, taking her helmet off. She had pale skin that was covered in freckles. Her ginger hair was messy and frizzy. Only some of it was kept not messy, being pulled back into a tie. She had dark rings around her purple eyes. "You been absorbing energy lately?" Multi-girl asked.

Copycat nodded. "I've gotten a better handle on it since I was little, and I'm not absorbing a lot. Just enough to save time on eating until I find my dad." She said dismissively. "Guys' names were Tomas Kane and Will Aarons." She said. Multi-girl nodded, turning back to the terminal. "By the way, get something to eat out of the fridge. I know you can survive off just energy but if it makes you go nuts it can't be good for you." Multi-girl said. "Yeah yeah." Copycat retorted, going to the fridge. "Oh we never got each others' names. I'm Kat. With the helmet on though I go by Copycat." She said to Davi. "That's Multi-girl. I dunno what her actual name is." Kat added, opening the fridge and pausing. "Why does this lettuce have tentacles?" She asked. "It's not lettuce. It's wiggle root. A tubor-like plant that grows on Khoros." Multi-girl answered.

It took a moment to take everything in. So the one who could turn into monsters was Human, but the one who can become minerals is an alien? It felt a bit odd for this to be the thing that messed with him the most but before he could process it he perked up to a question.
"Oh me? I'm Davi. Nice to. Meet you?" He says with an awkward wave. The comment on the lettuce got his attention and peeking in he saw the arrangement of odd foods. Least he assumed they were foods. "So are you two like super heroes or something?"

The inside of the fridge held numerous unusual foods. There was the obvious 'not a lettuce' with tentacles. There was also some kind of meat. It would've looked like ribs, if it weren't blue. There was one container with small craw-fish like creatures in it. Another with what looked like purple pill bugs. "Seriously you got any like actual food in here?" Kat asked. "I think A-er-I put some pickles in there earlier." Multi-girl said. "And yes. Well, I am. Technically she's a former thief." Multi-girl said.

"Ok got something." Multi-girl said. "But it's kinda weird. It's an article from a news paper a few months ago mentioned them going missing." She explained. "Obviously they aren't anymore." Kat said closing the fridge, holding the pickle jar. "Yeah but there haven't been any follow ups about them turning back up." Multi-girl said. She was quiet for a moment as she thought. "We could drop by the GCPD and ask Commissioner Gordon-" Multi-girl began. "Nope. I don't like GCPD and they don't like me. Plus with Davi, it'd probably be kind of a hassle." Kat added. "Okay looks like we're going straight for Thorne then." Multi-girl said. "I'll park the ship a good ways away from his penthouse, so you don't have to worry about anything." She added, looking to Davi.

"Wait so are we gonna go and question this Thorne guy? Wouldn't we need a warrent or something? Or are we just gonna rough him up and interrogate?" Davi peered into the fridge and took some of the strange pill bugs. Curiocity got the better of him and he tried one. It went down like a a cross between a cashew and grape. The texture was... Different to say the least so he got a small palm full and snacked away. "I take it this Thorne guy isn't exactly a nice bakery owner or something?"

"This is all the warrant I need." Multi-girl said, holding the Omnitrix up. "So long as I don't actually hurt him, the Commissioner and police just sorta look the other way." She explained. She got up before heading to the pilot's seat. She pressed a few buttons and typed something into a keyboard.

The three would feel the ship lift off the ground before it started moving forward. "Okay, autopilots on." Multi-girl said, before looking to the omnitrix. She activated it and began cycling through her alien forms. "Those don't look familiar." Kat said coming over, eyeing the holograms as they changed.

"Nope." Multi-girl replied. She narrowed her eyes, stopping after cycling back around to the plant alien she was earlier. She cycled to another alien whose hologram depicted a thin, almost skeletal, being with large moth-like wings. "This one's kinda creepy. Bet it'd work to get some answers out of Thorne." She said to herself, looking over when Davi spoke up.

"Oh yeah, he owns a bakery. And a green house. And several casinos and clubs. I think he owns at least one bank." Multi-girl said. "Guy's a mob boss. He acts all innocent and polite in public but behind closed doors he's one of the most ruthless non-super criminals in Gotham." She said.

"Wait so you want us to go an interrogate a big time kingpin and just walk out? That sounds absurdly stupid even if you have some police immunity." Davi darted his gaze between the two. Back and forth as he passed over the details in his mind. "What are you gonna do if you've got this immunity cause of that gizmo? I guess some of those debot managers were right. Gotham is run by lunatics." He peeked out the window and saw the speed they moved. Everything blurred. "Do you have a licence?" His mind passed to a more immediate concern.

"I'll be doing the interrogation. You two are gonna stay on the ship. As for getting to Thorne, I can handle his goons if I run into any. And he's just some fat old guy so, at least physically he's not a threat." Multi-girl explained. She glanced to the controls when Davi asked about her having a license. "Well technically, at the moment by ability to pilot this thing is irrelevant. It's on auto-pilot. And yes, I do." She added.

The ship flew through the least obstructed path to its destination, before coming to a stop as it landed on a building. Jackie looked out the window, able to see Thorne's penthouse from where they were. "Alright, let's see what Mothman can do." Multi-girl said, activating the Omnitrix, and pressing the face down.

A green flash shot out. In an instant, her body began to become thinner and lankier. Her face's shape shifted into something that looked somewhat skull-like, with large green eyes. Her skin darkened. Some of it turned black, whilst patterns of dark blue and light blue appeared as her clothes adapted into a leotard with a fur trim around the collar. Lastly, wings sprouted from her back, folding around her into a sort of cloak.

"Didn't the hologram have wings?" Kat asked.

"Yeah-" Multi-girl began, pausing as she felt her cloak. "Thaaat's weird." She said, before unfurling her wings. "Cool." She said, a cold mist puffing out of her mouth as she spoke. Davi and Kat would both notice the room suddenly becoming chillier, with the windows fogging over slightly.

"Hey, I got a perfect name for this one! Killermoth!" Kat suggested, getting a look from Multi-girl. "Well the name fits you better than that Walker loser." Kat said.

"I'm not using his name. I mean, I'm trying to be taken seriously here." Multi-girl said, turning and walking to the door. It opened. "I'll be back in a bit." She said, before spreading her wings and taking off.

Multi-girl soared through the air, landing on top of Thorne's building. She glanced to his green house, finding it empty, disregarding the plants inside. She walked passed it to the door. She reached to her belt to retrieve a lock pick, pausing when she didn't feel it. She sighed. "I am so gonna have to talk Azmuth or Albedo about getting my utility belt added to my uniforms." She grumbled, looking to the door. She shrugged. "Welp, he deserves a broken door-" Multi-girl began, throwing a kick. She suddenly became transparent, and her foot phased through the door. She let out a yelp, as she fell. She pulled her foot back, blinking. "Cool. Missed being able to do something like that." She said with a grin, before getting to her feet.

She became transparent again, before walking through the door, solidifying on the other side. She looked around, now inside the living area of Thorne's pent house. There were several book shelves up against the walls. One side of the room had a massive set of windows instead of normal walls, giving a few of the city outside. At the center of the room was a sitting area sat before a fire place, with a large tv mounted up onto it playing the news. The fire was lit, and provided most of the light in the room. She spotted Thorne sitting in one of the chairs. She approached from behind.

Thorne would be able to feel the air grow cold, before Multi-girl spoke up. "Hey there Rupert, been a while." Multi-girl said.

Davi watched as the now strange moth creature left.
"So what do you nickname all her cryptid form things? Is she some kind of superhero or am I up the wrong tree?" He sat back on the couch. Leaning back as he began to accept his sitatuion. He peeked into the bag and stuck his hand in. Feeling about for anything interesting.

Thorne seemed to be dozing off. Eyes were shut as he sat in the warm glow of the fire. There was something more homey about it than the heater. Teh heat felt mre natural and alive. He felt a chill like someone opened a window. He wiggled in his seat. Squirming before the cold got worse. His eyes opened quickly as he heard a voice. The voice was cold and whispy. Like someone had a severe sore throat and a slight breeze was over the voice. It felt unnatural. His hand reached for a small table next to his chair. With decent speed despite his size and age he pulled a pistol. He turned as the light of the tv changed to a report on black outs occuring in several suburbs of Gotham and it was being looked into but currently not treated as suspcious.

"Who's there." He says darting around the room. It was empty. He got up and looked around. On the ground where several marks. They looked like wet footprints of weird shapes. Like someone walked on the sides of their feet. He turned at hearing a voice. "Got a lot of nerve coming in here. Now I'll ask again. Who's there?"

"Oh I don't really name them. Was jsut suggesting for that one." Kat said. "She mostly names them based on their powers. Like... her Pyronite form she called Hotshot, since it could shoot balls of fire-" Kat began, before pausing. "Pyronites are like.... a mix of magma and coal in the shape of a person and on fire." She explained. "Another alien she could turn into was a fish that could bite through steel, so she called it Biteforce." She added. "What all's in there?" Kat asked. "I'd seen clips of Charmcaster on the news before and she could pull all sorts of stuff out of that thing.

Multi-girl stepped into the light from the tv and fire, in view of Thorne, though she was still transparent. "Go ahead and fire off a shot if you want. Not gonna do you any good." Multi-girl said.

"Oh great she's into wordplay." Davi comments as he feels around. "I saw. Her little escapades would not be well recieved back home." He opened the bag up trying to look in before grasping something. "Ah huh!" He pulled out small bag of beans. "Oh... It's beans." He ties it back up and sits it aside. "Honestly I wish I knew. It's a small pocket dimension. When attuned to someones soul they can find what they need with a clear head. Kind of it reads you mind and presents you what you need."

"Someone send you to kill me?" He says looking at the lanky figure in the light of the tv. They were misty like a ghost or some kind of illusuion. "You sure you're bullet proof freak?" He says backing up slowly.

"Yep. Some of them are pretty creative. Like this one alien who could move real fast was called VL-OCT, but when you say it fast it sounds like you're saying velocity." Kat said. She blinked. "Why is there a bag of beans in there?" She asked.

"For starters if I was going to kill you, I wouldn't have given you the chance to get up. Secondly-" Multi-girl began, her wings unfurling as she indicated the face of the Omnitrix on her chest. Even if Thorne doesn't recognize her current form, he would recognize the Omnitrix symbol from the numerous times Multi-girl had helped Batman deal with Thorne before. "I don't kill. And yes, I'm sure." She added.

"My guess is some sort of magical growth bean? Probably either creates a plant monster or grows a vine. She's gathered and transmuted all sorts of magical phenomina in here." He pulls the beans up. "Wanna try and idenitfy it? Will only be a short spell."

"What does the Bats shapeshifting runt want? Did the big man feel too busy to see me himself?" He says relaxing a bit as the intruder became visible, even lowering the pistol as he stands by the wall. "Spit it out girly." His expression seemed more annoyed than anything now.
