Yvonne - Einar (played by st4rz) Topic Starter

Yvonne: She sat at the bar, tossing a poker chip like she would a coin, observing the gamblers, watching for any cheaters, like a hawk.

Einar: He was at the doors, taking over the Hostess' position until she came back, welcoming guests in and walking people to their reserved games and tables.

Ah, casino, my old friend...

Old habits die hard, and for Cris, gambling was just that. She did not have as many chances ti play as before, not with her busy schedule - diplomat and full time mother of three by day, vigilante by night - but sonetimes she still needed it as a mean to decompress. Play, or even just watch other play, had the power to steady her nerves.

She walked into the casino, earning more than one curious glance with her long kimono and mask, and just took in the surroundings for a minute. Now this was her element!
Tudor-3 (played by Samiakki)

Tudor-3 preferred organic casinos to any virus bar that Absalom Station had to offer. Sure, it didn't cater to machines, but it was hard to find content that did that didn't rely on muddling one's sensors. Besides, he'd want to be in well-functioning order if he was going to be making risks with his credits.

He arrived at almost the same time as the vigilante Light Raygun had, having walked through the doors some moments after. He navigated around her so it didn't feel like he was riding on her tail, but he still acknowledged her presence in a friendly manner.

"Lovely kimono, by the way." His voice is notably produced from a tenor synthesizer, mechanical-sounding but intelligible. "Imported from Earth?"

In actuality, he had no concept of what was beautiful and what wasn't. Aside from commenting for Cris' sake, he just made himself appear how he figured 'kept' was considered to humanoids. He didn't even usually carry a weapon on him, being a merchant; save for the bulky, metallic plating of his left arm, but that was more for protection than aggression. At least the bright colors and elegant patterns of his attire were considered suitable for the place they were at.

Yvonne: She noticed two of the latest guests who were quite different. One seemingly human, although you could never be too sure of that here, and the other, a humanoid bot.

"Interesting..." Yvonne thought out loud, flashing them both her signature bubbly smile from the bar. She never forced a smile unless she was displeased or angered, and these two seemed rather polite casino-goers so she gave them their peace.

Einar: "Lovely attire, ma'am! And very nice to see a humanoid in person. Please, do enjoy your time here at White Star. If you're of need of any assistance, please feel free to ask any of the employees, my sister, or I!" Einar exclaimed, enthusiastic and energetic as ever, as he greeted the guests.

Yvonne: Yvonne went behind the bar, grabbing a fresh hand towel, wiping down some mugs and glasses, whistling to herself softly as she did so, keeping herself occupied.

Einar: The hostess returned, which allowed Einar to happily stroll to his usual poker table, waiting for some guests to sit. To keep himself from going stir-crazy, he repeatedly shuffled his card deck or stacked the poker chips.
* maximus was a pretty big fan of black jack and poker so he decided for the first time to go and gamble while he played as he would walk in being astonished from the inside as it was something he's never seen before * Maximus: holy crap this place is amazing look * he said as he was just looking at everything since everything caught his interest *

The android's optics managed to catch a glimpse of Yvonne's smile from afar, which he returned in earnest. Some might not suspect it to be as genuine, coming from a machine, but even the simulated warmth of his expression was hard to deny. Next, he turned back to Einar, of whom he dipped his head to.

"You don't get many non-humans around these parts?" He asked out of curiosity rather than seeming to take offense. "Well, I'm happy to add to the roster of patrons."

Another of his series, Elfthryth-2, probably wouldn't approve of him going to a casino that can be argued as a 'rival' establishment, but he barely talked to her anyway. If anything, he actually preferred to bring his business elsewhere. Elf was unsettling in her ways. . .

As Einar set off for his poker table, Tudor dutifully made his way towards a cashier to exchange his credits for betting chips. Max is given a nod in greeting by the android before he reached his destination in the queue. He didn't buy a large amount - that was, to him, as he was conscious to convert his intergalactic credits to the local currency. A starting amount was fine by him; four-hundred credits converted would bring him to a hopefully similar amount the casino used. It'd be more than enough to bring to a betting table, so he took his denominations in chips of twenty-fives and two one-hundreds.

Content to get started, Tudor promptly head for Einar's poker table next. He plopped himself into a seat, opting to converse with the croupier while they awaited more players.

"Forgive me if this is intruding too much, but I can't imagine you get many constructs. I don't think as many have an appetite for gambling as some of us androids do. At least, that's what I'm guessing. I could be wrong when it comes to the White Star."

Which can arguably be good for organics, considering the calculative nature of machines.
Esmeryle (played by Noah-Bear95)

"Anybody interested in a palm reading?" A tiny Dragonborn in a cloak calls out, her eyes partially covered by the cloak's veil. "Only five credits, courtesy of a peer-reviewed Magic Scholar!" She then looks around from her stall, just outside of the casino, before she sighs in tired frustration. "Great~, Esmey. You just happen to be on the one ship with a loose ID system, yet you can't get into one of the galaxy's best casinos."

She then taps a claw on her stall, nestled on a soft pillow as she waits for someone to approach her.
