Hi, hello! The best tip for any forum is to lurk a little bit. See what people write, how they sort their topics... Browse through some characters and see the wide variety of ways people stylize their pages, it's fun.
The other best tip is don't be afraid to get your feet wet! Participate in forum games and OOC talk, send a message to people if their RP ad sounds fun. The worst that can come of it is nothing c:

I suggest checking out and reading through the help forums for sure, they are all very helpful, especially if you are newer to forum based writing (like I am LOL!).
Also, don't be afraid to ask questions!! That is my biggest advice honestly. Everyone here is really welcoming and kind, if they don't have the answer they will at least help you try to find it or guide you in the right direction so you can figure it out.
