Hey! So I've noticed this being a thing for a while now, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it. I see people who have four characters for example displayed on their profile but the see more at the end says like seven or so. So uh, how do you hide characters until that option?

There's an option when editing characters to mark which category/categories each of them belong in, including fantasy, sci-fi, modern, adventure, horror, etc. (And you can also add your own custom categories.)
Anyway, one of the available categories is "Featured". Characters marked with the featured category will display on your profile and the others will be under the "see all (number) characters" link. If none are marked as featured, they all display on your profile (I think; maybe not if you had a whole lot, Idk.)
Edited to Add: Oh, um, I just remembered there's also a "Retired/Inactive" category; that might also work to send characters to the see more list. I use the method I described above, though.

All of this is correct.
