Attor (played by DigitalDevil)

The outside of the bookish dragon's cabin is a quaint and charming sight, nestled in the heart of a dense, enchanted forest. The cabin itself is built from weathered, dark wood with a moss-covered thatched roof. The exterior walls are adorned with ivy, which has taken on various shades of autumnal red and orange, creating a stunning contrast against the rustic brown of the cabin.

A cobblestone pathway, partly hidden beneath a carpet of fallen leaves, leads up to the cabin's front door. The path meanders through a beautifully landscaped garden that seems to have been plucked from the pages of a fairy tale. Small, intricately designed wrought-iron lanterns on either side of the path cast a warm, inviting purple glow in the evening, guiding visitors to the dragon's lair.

The garden is a vibrant mix of wildflowers and carefully cultivated blooms. There are dainty snapdragons, marigolds, and sunflowers, which bloom in a kaleidoscope of autumn hues. The scent of lavender and roses permeates the air, creating a delightful, almost magical ambiance. Gnarled old trees with leaves in varying shades of red, yellow, and orange tower above the cabin, their branches forming a natural canopy, dappled with sunlight that filters through the colorful foliage.

Small, whimsical Halloween decorations adorned the exterior of the cabin. A friendly scarecrow stands guard by the garden gate, its tattered clothes and straw hat giving it a slightly mischievous appearance. A series of glowing jack-o'-lanterns, each with a unique expression, are placed on the cabin's front steps, welcoming visitors with their flickering, warm light. A woven spiderweb, adorned with sparkling dewdrops, stretches between two branches of an old oak tree. Crafted from silk thread and glimmering beads, it adds an eerie yet enchanting touch to the scene.

Attor waited inside by the door, anticipating visitors excitedly as he held a rather large bowl of candies he may or may not have taken pieces out of to snack on. This was his first time celebrating Halloween this way, it seemed like a rather fun holiday.
Lizbeth Redwood (played by Fantax)

Lizbeth can’t resist, she has to knock on stranger’s door, but only, and really only these nights of Halloween. Where everyone gets disguised, where everyone does same.
The doe is normally a very warily person, living quite secluded in her little hut.
Not today…
Not this evening…
Lizbeth is ‘on tour’ combatting her fear of strangers. So she looks for inviting places and comes across this absolute stunning garden.
Beautiful flowers where an eye can look, scent of sweetness and warm memories, roses, scent of Angel, her Mom.
So the doe just stands there, mesmerized, a smile from ear to ear, reaching softly and all flower.
The nicely arranged Halloween decoration finishes the tableau. Lizbeth has to knock. She takes her little mask she made, a mask as in Venetian carnival, assembled by herself and holds in front of her nose. It’s the only disguise she wears, if it is not her usual linen clothing. She took her pouch that still scents like forest herbs.

Gently she approaches the cabin door, delicately knocking…
Dean Pierce (played anonymously)

A scarecrow, he thought, why did it have to be a scarecrow?!. It was looking at him, practically daring him to walk through the gate and within arm's reach. It would surely snatch him right up and teach him a lesson about coming into its dominion. His hairs raised as he stared at it. He could smell treats up ahead, but here was the obstacle between him and them. Whyyyy did it have to be a scarecrow?!

There was already someone near the door. The scarecrow hadn't hurt them...maybe it was safe?
Kyria (played by Stormiedayz)

The forest whispered her arrival long before her boots touched the cobblestone path. Lanternlight flickered between the trees, catching in her dark hair and tracing faint glimmers across the faint shimmer of her wings. Though she had folded them close to appear more human, the night itself seemed to recognize her. The leaves stilled, and the air held its breath.

The cabin ahead glowed like something out of a mortal fairy tale. Warm light spilled from its windows, curling through the mist in ribbons of gold and violet. The scent of lavender and woodsmoke reached her first, followed by the faint sweetness of candy. Kyria’s lips curved. So this is where the magic hides tonight.

She stepped lightly onto the cobblestone, her gaze drifting over the ivy-wrapped walls and the carved pumpkins that grinned in welcome. Each flickering flame reflected in her eyes like a tiny star. When she reached the door, she paused, tilting her head at the sound of movement within, the soft rustle of a large being trying, perhaps, to be gentle.

“Such care for a human custom,” she murmured, amused. “I wonder what sort of creature keeps a hearth so kind.”

Her knuckles brushed the wood as she knocked, the sound soft but sure. “Trick or treat,” she called, voice warm with mischief. “I heard there was magic here, and perhaps someone charming enough to share it.”

Upon nervously opening the door, Attor saw two faces looking back at him. One was that of a anthropomorphic doe, and the other being a rather pretty young woman.

The dragon smiled nervously, the rather sharp fangs in his mouth being visible. He held out his bowl of homemade sweets to the two of them. The selection mostly consisted of caramels, with there being both hard and soft varieties, mostly because Attor had overcooked the first batch and had accidentally made hard caramels.

"Take however much you like!" He chirped. "I also have fruit if you don't like what you see."

Attor noticed a young man that was rather apprehensive about coming to the door, seemingly afraid of the playful scarecrow that the dragon had placed along the path. Slowly, a mischievous grin spread across his face, and with a flick of one of his talons, the scarecrow came off the pole that kept it upright, and it began to move toward Dean. It didn't seem like it meant any harm, but it was meant to spook him a little.
Kyria (played by Stormiedayz)

When the door opened, Kyria’s smile deepened. The sight of him, a dragon trying to appear at ease among mortal festivities, was disarming in the most delightful way. The sharp edge of his fangs caught the candlelight, but his eyes were kind.

She reached into the bowl, her fingers brushing the edge of his talon as she plucked a single caramel. “So the rumors were true,” she said softly, her voice rich with quiet amusement. “A dragon with a sweet tooth and a generous heart. I’m glad I followed the light to your door.”

She unwrapped the candy, tasting it as if it were a rare offering rather than a simple treat. “Delicious,” she murmured. “And dangerously so.”

Her gaze lingered for a moment longer before she smiled again, warm and unhurried. “You make quite the host. I think your home is even sweeter than your caramels.”

She giggled when she saw the scarecrow moving. Kyria may be an angel, but she has always been a very mischievous one.
Dean Pierce (played anonymously)

If he could've, Dean would've punched the scarecrow into oblivion so he could go up to the house and get himself some precious, precious candy. Unfortunately for him, the situation would only worsen when the thing moved. It moved - on its own!!! He literally jumped back several paces, hackles up, and cursed up a storm that would make even the most hardened of sailors clutch their pearls.

Weapon. He needed a weapon!

In a panic, he reached on the ground for anything he could get his hands on to throw at it. His fist closed around something, but before he could register what, he reared his arm back and threw it...only for his weapon to be a handful of autumnal leaves which gently fell to the ground. "OH HECK NO!"
Ash Longer (played by zombiequeen)

Ash lingered at the edge of the clearing, half-hidden by the trees, her breath misting faintly in the cool evening air. The scent of sugar and smoke drifted from the cabin, and though it was faint, it tugged at something unfamiliar—something soft. Her wolf stirred uneasily beneath her skin, urging caution even as curiosity edged closer to winning.

Her eyes flicked over the glowing lanterns, the carved pumpkins, the ridiculous scarecrow. It was… too much. Too warm. Too alive. It didn’t belong in the same world as her memories, all ash and blood and iron. Yet somehow, she couldn’t turn away.

She stepped forward, boots crunching against fallen leaves, every motion tense and deliberate. The faint purple light caught in her hair as she reached the porch, her gaze landing on the dragon framed in the doorway. Her voice, when she finally spoke, was quiet but edged with wary amusement.

“Didn’t take you for the type to hand out candy,” she murmured, eyes flicking to the bowl in his claws. “Or is this just an excuse to keep all the good pieces for yourself?”

The corner of her mouth twitched upward, a hint of teasing behind the guarded tone—her own small offering of peace, or maybe, a test.
Lizbeth Redwood (played by Fantax)

Lizbeth freezes on her position, her jaw dropped down, her eyes wide open. She doesn’t notice the candy in a bowl, neither the third visitor having issues with that scarecrow, she took it for decoration.
It’s almost that she realizes someone next to her.
The only thing she sees is a dragon, opening the door and offering treats, a real purple dragon breathing through some sharp fangs.
No this isn’t a disguise, that doe knocked on the door of a dragon, unbelievable….
She who always wanted to meet one simply knocked on the door of a seemingly nice one. The least she could say that he was beautiful.
hi… hullo… errr… tarrick or tarreat ” she mumbles.
Slowly her hand moves into the bowl, but her eyes don’t leave that creature right in front of her, not even for the sorceress next to her.
Lizbeth has a dragon at reach and is unable to move. Her hand picks a candy randomly…

With a smile, Attor shook the bowl a little, shuffling around the candy inside each time someone took a piece, making sure everyone got a fair amount of variety even though he only had a small amount of different kinds of candy. Behind the others, Attor noticed the young man attempting to attack the decorative scarecrow. He didn't want anyone getting hurt, so he reverted the scarecrow back to a rather pathetic pile of hay. Hopefully, that would calm Dean down.

Returning his attention to the people at his door, Attor listened to each one of them, giving Lizbeth a few extra clawfuls of candy to potentially calm her nerves. Then, his attention shifted to the new woman at the door, savoring her comment and her seemingly rhetorical question.

"Humans seem to have a custom of handing out candy around this time of year." He replied, seeming more calculated than anything. "I find human customs rather interesting. Besides, if I get to make sweets, that is fine by me."
Kyria (played by Stormiedayz)

Kyria’s soft laughter shimmered through the autumn air. The scarecrow collapsing into hay drew an amused grin. “Merciful as you are clever,” she said warmly, glancing toward Attor. “You disarmed panic with grace. That’s more precious than gold.”

Her gaze lingered on the dragon for a moment, studying him with quiet intrigue. “You wear your power gently,” she observed. “I’ve met many beings who mistake strength for dominion. You, I think, have learned restraint and kindness.”

The caramel she still held glowed faintly where her fingers touched it, as though it remembered her light. She tucked it away in her palm, smiling softly. “Consider this my offering in return,” she said. “A little blessing for your threshold. May all who cross it find the peace they did not know they were seeking.”

She glanced toward the others (the shy doe, the wary wolf, and the man recovering from fright) and her smile deepened with a glimmer of affection. “It seems your door attracts far more than mere trick or treaters tonight,” she teased gently.

The air around her stirred, catching the edge of her coat as. “I should go,” she murmured. “There are other lights to follow before the night is done.”

With that, she inclined her head toward Attor, her voice quiet but full of warmth. “Thank you for the welcome, dragon of the dusk. May your fire burn steady long after the candles fade.”

The moonlight brightened briefly as she turned away, silver mist swirling at her feet. Then, in a blink of soft radiance, Kyria was gone, leaving behind only the faint scent of jasmine and starlight where she had stood.
Lizbeth Redwood (played by Fantax)

Lizbeth is still mesmerized by that dragon, but those soft spoken words of this sorceress find her consciousness, such wise words!
Pulled back into reality, she gets aware of the greater amount of candies the dragon granted her.
Oh, wait, no, I…” words don’t come out right of between those deer-lips.

- pull yourself together Lizbeth, fulfill a dream-

She shakes her head once and looks with a way more clear mind to the sorceress bowing out and back to the dragon.
Please excuse my rude behavior, my mind was blurred. Thank you kind sorceress, thank you very much sweet dragon. But I can’t accept so much offering.
Still very shy and impressed by that being in front of her, she lays back very gently few of her offered candy, egoistically keeping the chocolate, but not all.
Please give these to those playful kids that might show up at your cabin, or those that are scared at scarecrows.
She takes out of her pouch a paper bag, and appears from it a cookie, obviously handcrafted. “Please take one of my cookies I baked, there is no animal product in it, but it has a sweet surprise inside.
The cookies are made of buckwheat flour, peanut/almond mash, cane sugar and vegetable oat milk. Inside a sweet purée of cranberries, cherries and strawberries with a tip of charcoal and powdered sugar to thicken.

Lizbeth almost keeps staring at this wonderful and friendly dragon, her eyes filled with admiration and awe. How much would she love to touch, her hand trembles slightly very slowly moving upwards, carrying that cookie towards Attor.
Dean Pierce (played anonymously)

After a third fistful of dry leaves thrown its way, Dean's foe collapsed into hay. The visible fear instantly turned into boastful arrogance as he shouted over its remains, "THAT'S RIGHT. MESS WITH THE BULL, GET THE HORNS!" Despite fully believing it was his attacks and not Attor who felled the hay beast, he still side-stepped its remains from a good distance as though they were radioactive, before heading up to the dragon's house.

Dean squeezed his way past the other patrons. "Trick err treat," he said, as though nothing had happened whatsoever. No point addressing him shrieking about moving scarecrows, nope.

Once candy was handed to him, he gave a short bow of the head before turning sharply on his heels and booking it out of there like a bat out of hell. Couldn't take the risk that the scarecrow might revive.

[Thanks for the RP. Happy Halloween y'all. :)]

Wearing an adorable Batgirl costume, Fumizuki knocks on the door, holding a bag for the candy she's collecting. "Twick or tweat!"
Dr. Todd Swordson (played anonymously)

Luke, under the watchful eye of his father ran up beside Fumizuki in a Beetlejuice costume "hey Fumizuki!" He would then holds up his black trick-or-treat bucket "trick-or-treat!"
