There's no reaction from the brooding man when he notices the retriever over to him. He believes animals can sense evil in men's hearts, the beast is most definitely avoiding- It's heading straight his way.
"Hey...! HEY!" He shouts, alarmed, puting an arm in front of him, lifting his leg when he notices the critter licking at his boots - and it talks?! - "These are filthy, you-" Dogs. To think Revenant comes from a place they're almost considered myth. He honestly doesn't know how to react but helplessly wave his arms at the retriever or move tap his feet around in a vain attempt to keep his boots from being licked.
Then the snowball hit his "face".
"What the HELL was that for?!" Now he sounds more menacing, not even minding the dog licking his feet. It's so many things happening at once, holy moly. Did the retriever talk, too?!
