Got VERY lucky
I got a melee boost and a flute I can use. Just gotta make sure I use the boost on someone who has the HP and Stamina to utilize it. and co-ordinate with a large enough attack force with the flute (which I believe is stackable if multiple people use flutes)
I sure can't I'm basically empty on everything. But I did just rescue a ray gun and a flamethrower from the castle

Often in the past it's been brand-spanking-new weapons necessary, but-

They're single use weapons that do a L O T of damage. Always worth having and using against tough enemies.
If anyone has (non-super) party hats and damaged ray guns, Aalto is running 6 dura for 2 hats right now, which is VERY good.
Also if anyone has non-super party hats and WANTS ray guns, I have a few that could use fixing, so will happily take hats and give ray guns in exchange! ^v^
