YAY!!!!!! ^v^
He is one of my favorites for sure
He's so good. ^v^ I must find B O R B S
I have one report that someone is having trouble getting the walrus game to load fully enough to open. Is anyone else having this problem?
Currently, though, I've soft-tuned my Walruses for Wayfinding (dropping Wagons down one stage and 1 above the next carry threshold and bumping up wayfinders, next time might also tweak warrior counts but we'll see where I send them) and am heading off to scout last years nests and then the ark-ship crash site. ^v^ Zooming into the distance!!!!!
Also I'm tempted by the Extra Haunted region but I should probably be more respectful of my walruses than rushing them in there would be.

Walrus game is working fine for me!
Walruses are fine for me, apparently!
Oh good!
How often do Walruses move? Is there a Walrus Move Cycle calcualtor?
I might be invested in microing the walruses right now.

HA.
So, different types of terrain take different lengths of time for walruses to move through each hex of it. They are very fast in water, especially if it's salt water. They're okay on beaches. They slow down in more difficult terrain like forests, or goodness forbid mountains/cliffs.
Progress is calculated basically every 60 seconds or so (occasionally I pause the walrus calculations when something else is happening, like a round happening and a whole lot of folks needing their HP, stamina and status effects adjusted at the same time). If the walruses are able to generate enough movement to get through one or more hexes, you'll see them move. Each time they move into a hex there's also a chance of something else happening there, like them fighting, finding something, or sending you a report about something they saw/did.
Obviously, the composition of your company and the orders you've given them also impacts how they do on traveling.

When you double click a hex it will give you a rough estimate of how long it will take your current company to get there before you issue the order.
Happy birthday RPR! Been on this site for yearsâmostly on my old accountâbut I can definitively say my experience here has been mostly positive ^^
I'm so glad EmeraldUrsa!
