Greetings everyone! I’m Niko. Pleased to be here.
I’m pretty new to all of this - RPing sites and forums and whatnot, but have been writing and roleplaying for years now, on-and-off. It all started first when I was a wee child with unsupervised internet access doing one-liners in the comments of Kongregate games, MMORPG lobbies, and the like, then introduced that art to my circle of friends back at elementary where we’d all pass a notebook and take turns on writing our character’s actions. When I got older, I went into fanfiction writing, and seriously read my first book at age 11 (yes, that late, because young me thought ‘books are boring but rping is cool!’). Since then, I’ve been writing forever, using the medium as an escape and yet at the same time a tool for analysis and dissection. I’ve stopped roleplaying for about 5 years now, and pretty much lost some partners along the way with my absence. These days I found myself seeking connection and rapport and hope to find that spark in creatively writing with others again.
I enjoy writing about historical fiction, medieval/-fantasy and neo-noir genres, and creating characters within those realms.
I look forward to writing with you, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance!
