Just returned with a friend! Feel free to whisper "Misa Misa" if you need some chatter.
Hey Essie, hope you've been doing okay!
I know Furc is kind of more of just a casual hangout place. I, personally, havent seen any RP activity on it whenever I pop in to prowl about. I made the decision to quit entirely within the last 1.5 year I think. I found other avenues to RP since well, working full time meant I also couldnt be online daily for the fast paced scene stuff that took place on the game.
And nevermind just the general decline of the game itself, which Architect touched upon.

I've been getting on a lot more lately, or trying to. I've found pockets of rp, but you gotta go looking for them.
Options are super limited though, which is unfortunate. I think one of my greater furc regrets is that I spent too much time boxing myself into like medieval fantasy and didn't branch out enough to meet a bunch of different people, but alas no sense in worrying over it now.

That is the only dilemma that I have run in to currently. I had my avatar up and idling all day yesterday - but I wasn't actively behind the screen. Playing video games and or doing chores. I had done a public post (but my timing was off) and it wasn't until real late that I got a hit for rp. So its hard - 10 hours online and only getting a hit at 8 hours in. Its not busy enough for that style of rp. But I wasn't disappointed. I am hoping that the activity will have people looking for me or reaching out to plan something.
Where are you rping otherwise? I was looking for alternative options just to get back into the game.

I've found that too. You can be afraid to ask, or to seek it out. If you wait until someone comes to you, then you'll be waiting a while.
I sorta boxed myself in too. But thats just the genre that I liked the most. I dipped my toes into some more modern settings, but it never hooked like I hoped it would. I also stuck to mostly anthro characters and I think a lot of the modern settings are more human based. At least from my personal experience.

Yeah, all my friends were in medieval fantasy and I was too shy to branch out. I hate I never did, but now I'm doing what I want and having fun, even with how the game is now a days. I've gotten back into weaving and doing personal projects, so that's always good and I've been seeing a few new people come in and actually take to dreamweaving.
I wish DEP would advertise, they've had plenty of people offer to help with that, but it is what it is.
Also that's true on modern settings. I've only really ever seen maybe 1 anthro friendly setting. The others all seem to revolve around supernatural humans. I had trouble getting into modern supernatural dreams. There was always some sort of drama that tore through them or I just couldn't make it stick with me.

Hello!
I'm a friendo/staff of Olmeid so I highly recommend it as well. All else fails, Discord RP servers that use Tupperbox are basically like Furc without the map on screen. I can show ya if you want to friend me on Discord (thebananasaurus).
On Discord, I do mostly forum-style RP but the option for live-style RP is always there!
