Oh dear, looks like the usual color coding may not work this year!
Dragonfire Moderator

Yeah, they're a little different! Have to see what the next wave will look like to see if anything definitive pops up.
Dragonfire Moderator

Well, uh, one that seems like it might fit that purple theme, but...

After attacking a little, looks like the Silent Shadow might be weak to slashing damage, and the Looming Shadow to guns?

The painguins and grasping colds of previous Epic Weeks are back to be a pain(guin) in our collective backsides. Seen both of the red varieties so far!

Alright, lemme see now...

Aaaand that's all I've grabbed for now, apparently missed getting one of the Extra Icy Cubes earlier. Painguins and grasping hands are same as 2024. The shadows can blight, the cubes can cause frostbite.

There are still questions about how the bone flute picks the number and individuals to buff, but we have at least confirmed that it's single-attack-round buff can stack on other, multi-round buffs. It gives +3 to initiative and +1 to attack.

Just updated the warrior page in the Armory.

Notice: Non-boss enemies are weak to one of the three multi-use weapon types and typically "shrug off" some of the damage from the other two. Which weapon is best can be determined by an enemy's color.

2026 enemies include the Painguins and Grasping Cold from 2024.

Indeed! Looming Shadows work like blue enemies, which don't resist the gun type weapons. Silent Shadows work like red/lavender enemies, and the little Shadowy Threats work like green/white enemies.

I'm still missing info for blue snatchers, but I'm also not looking forward to seeing one. ^^;

Remember: the final boss (and it dang well better be final his time!) usually enters a frenzied "enraged" mode followed by an "exhausted" mode, and their stats during those modes are usually different from what they were!

I don't know if I'll be around when the Frost King is in those states, so I hope someone grabs and shares them here, just in case!

Mm, yep. This is the phase of dodge buffs, needling with piercing weapons (for the AC bonus), and having your phoenixes out if you have any.
