Heya! The name's Avery. University dropout in their 20s who loves to write stories.
I'm a little new to roleplay though. After struggling with writer's block for quite a while, I wanted to see if this would shake things up enough to get my digital ink flowing again. So far I've written mostly fantasy stories of all kinds (including mediaeval and low fantasy) a bunch set in modern times, and I've dabbled in a few science-fiction things too. But for roleplay, I'll expand my horizons a bit; a lot of things are possible if the plot hook is interesting enough!
Outside of writing, I love playing games (old-school Minecraft my beloved) and listening to music. I occasionally doodle here and there. I 'stole' my neighbour's cat ever since it decided to wait on my balcony until I give it its well-earned headrubs.
I hope this is good enough for now. I'm still getting used to the website and the whole roleplaying thing. But either way, I'm looking forward to writing stories together!

Ahh, welcome!!! Writers block is a killer, I hope that roleplay helps you out - it certainly helps me π if you need any help or wanna write with one of my characters, pleaseee don't hesitate to ask :^D

Ah, the good ol' two week Minecraft phase... I personally decided to keep the two-week phase, but limit it to a single world. If I don't like where I'm at, I save the coordinates and travel to a new place. It's the best of both worlds: the two weeks gameplay and the forever world vibes!
As for the roleplay, I read through the characters you have posted, and they all seem so damn interesting! Why are you're making it so hard to choose?! I think Eve Straud would be fun to write with, since you already have a roleplay advert up for her and I feel like I can write within that setting the easiest. I hope I can match your reply length though...

Well I think you got it there, role-playing can generate quite much imagination, as you're doing that with at least one partner. This can shake things, especially fantasy (the word by itself already meaning the use of imagination). Your horizon might get shaken too
Don't hesitate to ask! Asking will get you further, way further than just waiting for someone to pass by, like the neighbor's cat.
Just one little detail, you didn't steal the neighbor's cat, the cat 'stole' another well intentioned victim that can do head-rubs and give food... think about it. You don't own a cat, the cat owns you

First of all, that cat is now yours, you got no choice in the matter, it picked you and it will be a war crime if you don't accept that fact. Aside from that, you seem like a great person, easy to get along with and maybe fun.
I cant wait to see what other characters you come up with, I already took a peep at Julian and he looks like someone fun to bully in character.
