Robots, Aliens, and Undead all trying to collect the five scales of Terra! Fire Scale, Frost Scale, Shock Scale, Nature Scale and Shadow Scale! A new breed of Power Rangers are born when some college students at Yagami Community college find these scales in a small chest in the basement of their Japanese transfer school! Can these freshmen and sophomores rise up and become the:

Black Ranger (Shadow Scale)
-Create a Shadow Sword
-Teleport Through Shadows
-Become Invisible

Red Ranger (Fire Scale)
-Create a Flame Knuckles
-Can Fly with Energy Wings!
-They can Breathe Fire!

White Ranger (Frost Scale)
-Create and Ice Nunchucks
-Slow Time
-Manipulate the Wind!

Blue Ranger (Shock Scale)
-Create a Lightning Whip
-Can use Telepathy
-Hack into Electonics

Green Ranger (Nature Scale)
-Create a Forest Staff
-Talk to Animals
-Heal people emensely fast!

Oh my god yes!!! Power Rangers was my childhood! I call Red Ranger! If I'm allowed in, that is.

Yeah I wanna be the Black Ranger, Leon is the Red ranger, we just need three more!

Question: Is this going to be more like Power Rangers, or Super Sentai? Because I don't want to be learning an lesson about something I should already know every so often in the rp.

Idk what solider senti is, it's more like: we find strange scale then to go into ranger form we yell a power word (I was thinking the name of the dragon the scale once belonged to) then we transform into rangers! With the knowledge of our powers!

What do you think? I was thinking of naming it "Power Rangers: Scale Guardians!"

Super Sentai is what Power Rangers is in Japan before it comes to America. Super Mega Force was Gokaiger, Dino Charge was Kyoryuger, Lightspeed Rescue was Toquger, and so on. And also, would the Red Ranger be the leader as he is in almost every otheer Power Rangers show? With the exception of Mighty Morphin where Tommy Oliver, the White Ranger, was in charge, and in Dino Thunder, where Tommy Oliver was also in charge, but as the Black Ranger.

Well it will mostly be a team effort, but if one character rises up and is a good leader the eventually we can have one. But in the beginning no, we will have no leader

If you want to get technical, the sixth ranger hardly ever leads the team. To my knowledge (and I am super tired right now) it has always been red in both the Sentai series and Rangers adaptations, barring a few select episodes. For an rp setting, it might have to be changed or tweaked a bit to avoid power plays.

Kenzoku, you could also consider passing the leader role off every 'mission' or monster fight, or something. Not trying to hijack your topic or tell you what to do, it's just a thought I had. Maybe you could have a series of trials for each ranger, and whoever demonstrates the most obvious leadership traits could be voted leader?

Well, I'm a budding Sentai fan. All started with seeing some toy reviews of the Ninninjer mechs, and I thought I should check it out. Hard to find where to watch it that isn't a terrible quality youtube video.

Umm, my character Hiro wears a lot of white. He's freshmen aged. And is a skilled fighter. And Power Rangers.

Man, when I saw this, especially the shadow part, I instantly said Archer would be good. But that's already taken. If needed, I can use Abe for the Blue Ranger if the person can't do it, but I thought that I might try to use Archer as a bad guy possibly? Thought maybe having another shadow user would make things interesting. Just a suggestion.
