Arien changed when she did--though using the kitchen to do so. Dry clothes felt much better then wet, and he met back with Red in front of the fire.

He grinned and flopped down beside the fire. "Cuddling? I'm good at that."

"I know you are," she said sweetly and smiled.
Red layed back and sighed.
"Wow..the rain sounds nice.." she mumured as she listened to the rain.

Arien pulled her gently against him and smiled. "Rain is so much nicer when one's not running around in it."

Of course Bella chose just then to dash into the house, in a bit of a panic, before seeing Arien and Red. She relaxed a little, ears going back as she gave herself a shake--spraying water everywhere.

"Bella!" Arien yelled, trying to shield Red from the worst of it.

Red snuggled into Arien and smiled.
"Im quite sure you feel that way but i love the rain. Both in and out of it," she said then laughed as Bella ran in shaking water everywhere.
She looked over to Bella and smiled at her soaking wet fur.
"Aw im sorry Bella. Why dont you come by the fire to get warm?" she suggested.

Arien shook his head as Bella flung herself next to the fire and heaved a sigh. She kept one eye on Arien though, her ears back. It was obvious that she didn't trust him not to leave her.

"I'm sorry, Bella," Arien sighed. "I won't leave you like that again, okay?" He held his hand out to her apologetically. She looked away and flicked her ears back. Instead she stuffed her head under Red's hand, seeking a pet.

"Traitor," muttered Arien.

Red laughed softly then kissed Arien's cheek.
"She'll get over it soon," she said with a smile.
Petting Bella, Red smiled and relaxed.

Patch wondered out of Red's room and curled up next to Bella, purring.

Arien smiled and settled back as well. "There's a reason my friend usually takes care of her, but I don't normally plan on teleporting across distances. Thanks to you though, my ankle doesn't hurt."

Bella wagged her tail as Patch curled up next to her. Arien couldn't help but shake his head, amused at the scene.

Red stopped petting Bella after a while then she layed back. Accidently though, she put her head on Arien's arm. She quickly sat up.
"Oh! Im sorry, i had no clue your arm was there," she said quickly and blushed a little.

Arien chuckled, amused. "I'm all yours, Red, if you'll have me." He put his arm around her and drew her gently back against him. "It's up to you."

Red smiled and leaned into him.
"Arien.. Of course i will," she murmured to him and looked up at him.
Red thought that she would burst with happiness while she was Arien. Nothing could ruin this for her, she wouldnt allow it.

He looked down at her and kissed her on the forehead before kissing her again on the lips.

He was happy and more than that, he was content. He could stay right here forever--and that, more than anything, was a measure of how far he'd come. The man who had to travel would be perfectly at home with this woman by his side. He hugged her close, as though he could impart this information without saying so.

Red smiled and kissed back gently. Closing her eyes when Arien hugged her. She had seen the content in his eyes and smiled to herself.
Not even Ash would ruin this for her. This one she was going to keep. Red was happy and content with him and was determined to keep him with her no matter the cost.

Arien listened to the sound of the rain and the feel of Red's rhythmic breathing. At last it sounded like the rain was ending, but he was comfortable now and lethargy was settling in. He didn't quite mean to fall asleep, but he was so relaxed, that it was hard to stay awake.

His breathing eased and his lids drooped until he was asleep; one arm still draped protectively around Red, keeping her close.

Red smiled a little as she felt his breathing slow and get deeper.
"Goodnight Arien," she whispered so not to wake him.
Red slowly followed him, falling asleep in his arms.

It was only a nap, but it was restful and Arien woke up a little jarred when he realized he was curled up next to a warm body. And then he smiled softly at Red's sleeping form. He breathed deeply, memorizing her sleeping face as he tenderly brushed some of her hair out of her face. It had a few knots in it from the swimming and lack of brushing while it was wet, but it only made him smile. Life was good, he thought, and there wasn't anything that would take this moment away.

Red stayed asleep for a little while longer then Arien. Waking up, she snuggled closer and blinked her eyes open. Arien was warm and she enjoyed the warmth while she slept.
Red looked around the room quickly before sitting up a little. Her hair felt messy and she sighed.

"Good mornin'" Arien said softly when she woke up. "Well, evening technically." The rainstorm had happened in the middle of the day. The excitement thereafter had worn them out.

He ran his fingers through her hair, combing out the least worse of the tangles. "Did you have a nice nap?"

"Yea..i was warm and comfy the whole time," she murmured to Arien.
Red smiled and layed back down, snuggling up to Arien again.

He wrapped his arm around her again, keeping her safe and warm. "So was I."

Bella stirred and stretched, but didn't move. She, too, was comfortable.

Nex came up with a devious plan and decided to carry through with it. Leaping out of Red's room, he bounded over and went right over to Arien. He licked up Arien's face, leaving behind a trail of slobber.

Red gasped and sat up. "Nex!" she said in surprise, scolding him.
