He was about to rip his shirt when he realized that it would make more sense to use Red's blood-stained one which was more than likely ruined anyway, and then give her his shirt to wear over it.

"Ah, if you give me your shirt, I'll bind your wound for you, then you can wear my shirt over it." He didn't seem to notice her blush given his concentration on fixing the immediate problem at hand.

Bella continued to follow the scent as long as she could, eventually switching over to Red's trail when she discovered it. She paused, pricked up her ears and waited for Arien's familiar voice.

Red grabbed her shirt and gave it to Arien, the blush very much still noticable. She kept her head down so Arien wouldnt see. Biting her lip, she took a quick glance at Arien's chest. Then looking at the grass, she pulled a blade of grass out of the ground and tore it slowly in half. Trying to distract herself from Arien.
Red kept blushing and she was definitly no longer thinking about anything other than Arien.

He might be buffer than his earlier "squishy" statement had led on, but he also had a farmer's tan. His torso was mostly a light tan that darkened midway down his arms. He ripped the shirt into strips and then carefully bound the wound.

"Sorry, if I hurt you," he said, fixing the strips of cloth over the wound. At last he was finished and the wound was covered. He breathed a sigh and then handed his shirt to Red. Now that he was done tending her wound, however, he realized their proximity and flushed.

"Th-thanks.." Red studdered and took the shirt from Arien.
It was now completely obvious she was blushing because she half turned around to take the shirt. Red glanced at Arien and saw him flush.
So now im not the only one with this ridiculous blush.. thinking that made Red smile a little.
Red's cheeks were, as her name put it, quite red. She was stilling biting her lip and she tried to avoid staring at Arien shirtless.

(Total Arien moment...brace yourself.)

Arien caught her glance and grinned his cocky, smarmy smile. "Like what you see?" he asked, posing to show off his buffness. He wasn't ripped, but it was evident he'd trained with a sword for a long time; and he was solid.

(Hahaha oh Arien)

Red quickly tensed and rolled her eyes then stood up, throwing Arien's shirt on. Muttering to herself about Arien's cockiness, she walked over to her sword and picked it up. Wincing as she realized her hand was stinging. Looking down at the palm of her hand she saw dried blood and sighed. Remembering she had gripped her sword's hilt too hard and made her hand bleed.
"Not again.." she muttered.
Shrugging, she looked back at Arien then blushe slightly again before walking towards her house. Completely wiped out.

Well, it wasn't exactly the reaction he had been hoping for, but he sniggered and stood up when Red did. "What? You're turned off so soon?"

What surprised him was that she didn't look half-bad in his shirt. It was probably good she didn't keep looking back at him, because he was staring at her, lost in thought, wondering what else she would look good in. Dresses, for one; he'd have to find a tailor in their travels at some point and get her one.

Red smirked. "Who ever said i was turned off?" she said in a light tone.
Sheathing her sword she brushed past Arien. Intentionally brushing against him lightly.

Neo heard movement up ahead and hissed, pinning his ears back. Just by scent he could tell that it was Ash that they had run into.

When Red brushed past him, a new look flickered briefly in Arien's face. Something akin to surprise and hope. "But..." He didn't even know what to think. His mind was processing one thought, his body another. He'd never met anyone like Red before--she was able to throw him for a loop, and he liked that about her.

"You're a hard woman to read," he muttered, though it was clear he didn't find that a bad thing.

Bella looked back at Neo, sensing his distress. She had found Ash's scent again, but didn't know what to do with it without a human's guidance. She flicked her ears back questioningly. To follow or to retreat?

Red paused next to him and looked at him a little surprised.
"Really? I always thought i was pretty easy to read," she said jokingly and smiled a little.
Red's emotions were everywhere and she wasnt really sure what she felt like at the moment, but needless to say she did feel strongly towards Arien.

Nex walked up beside Bella, his fur bristling.
Run Bella. We can handle this for now. Nex thought to Bella.
Ash walked out of the bushes and stopped short with surprise then smiled wickedly.
"Oh look. Its the gang of animals come to tear me apart huh?" she said mockingly.

Arien shrugged. "Some parts are easy enough to read, others...not so much." He grinned and poked her softly in the side. She wasn't as easy to read as other women who either flirted back or weren't interested. Red kept him guessing and it irked him in an interesting way.

Bella might have turned back if she hadn't seen Ash step out. Bella's fur went up and she bared her teeth in a warning to Ash.

Red giggled when he poked her on the side. As much as she hated it, she was ticklish. Blushing when she giggled, she quickly covered her mouth. Red couldnt remember the last time she giggled like that and it was embarrasing for her.
Clearing her throat she looked away and bit her lip.

Nex knew that they were in a very big mess. Ash was powerful and they would never be able to beat her on their own.
Bella! Go find Arien and Red! Me and Neo will hold her off! Nex thought to Bella.

Arien laughed, realizing she was ticklish--but for once he restrained himself. She was injured after all.

"So," he frowned and looked around. "I wonder what happened to the animals?"

Bella flicked an ear back to Neo, and then reluctantly turned tail to Ash and fled. She howled to let her prospective owner know she was on her way to him

Ash smirked and laughed wickedly.
"Watch and learn what i can do tiger! Red wi feel this more than you will," she hissed then leapt at Neo.
Neo managed to side step but Ash turned mid-air and swung her sword. It sliced through Neo's shoulder. Neo winced in pain and Nex leapt forward, catching Ash off gaurd. He swung his massive paw, landing a blow on the side of her head, sending her flying into a tree.

Red gasped and fell to one knee, holding her shoulder. No blood or wound was there but she felt like she had just been hit with a sword's blade. Red was utterly confused then she remembered an old trick of Ash's.
"Arien! Ash is attacking Neo and Nex! I dont know where Bella is but she might be with them," she said worriedly.

Bella wanted badly to help the tigers, but she raced for Arien. She howled again and this time Arien heard her.

"Bella? Bella! Here, girl!"

The wolf sprinted into sight, tail wagging but in an anxious way. She pranced and whimpered and started to run back the way she had come. Obviously something was up.

Arien looked at Red. "You able to follow? Or would you rather I carry you?"

"I can run! My legs werent the ones hurt," Red snapped then her eyes softened. "Sorry. I can do it though," she said in a calmer tone.
Standing up, she took off after Bella easily keeping pace easily. Every muscle screamed in protest but she kept running. Looking back, she made sure Arien was keeping up.

Ash groaned and shook her head trying to clear it. Before Ash could move, Nex closed his jaws around her neck not yet biteing down enough to break her neck but enough to draw some blood.

Bella followed her own trail and came back upon the scene. She slid to a halt, unsure of what to do.

Arien was keeping up. He might not be much of a runner, but he could keep pace if he needed to. He gasped as they finally reached the scene.

"Crap."

Red froze when she came upon the scene. Her whole body went rigid and she wasnt sure anymore if she wanted to kill Ash.
"Nex. Wait." she said, her voice wavering.

Ash smirked as she heard Red's voice waver.
"Cant kill me now can you?" she croaked mockingly.

Nex and Neo's fur bristled at Ash's tone and Nex held his position. Almost disobeying direct orders.

Arien stalked over to Ash, heedless of the fact that Red was in a bind. Fury radiated from him in waves; and if Ash could see auras, his natural blue would be red.

"I ought to kill you myself," Arien said, "for putting Red through hell! What is wrong with you that you would actively try to harm your best friend? Best friends don't do that! Ever! And best friends don't betray each other. So were you and Red ever best friends? Or was it all just a game to you?"

"It was purely a game," Ash said nonchalantly. "I wouldnt talk to me like that if i was you," Ash said in a warning tone.

Nex squeezed harder but barely, drawing more blood than before. But not enough to kill her. Yet.

Red was suddenly spiraling into darkness and her heart was ripped from her body. Or thats what it felt like.
Clenching her teeth and balling her hands into fists, her body trembled from all the emotions she felt. Tears fell down her cheeks rapidly and she looked to the ground. Hearing Ash say that out loud was completely different from saying it in her head all these years.
