The electricity simply flowed through the metal hull and grounded into the earth. The tank stopped though and the turret rotated and the barrel lowered towards them. Everything seemed to go in slow motion for Eon as the tank fired. He leaped in front of Shade and Shira, using protect as he did and the shell exploded against the shield, blowing Eon back and incinerating the protect.
Eon whimpered as he lay on the ground, his ears bleeding and his vision was going red.
Meanwhile, the tank started forwards again as if nothing happened, toppling trees as it moved to catch up with the other tanks.

"Eon!" Shira ran forward and immeditly started looking over his wounds. Willow ran over, tears in her eyes.

He could see them all, but everything was shaky and red and he couldn't hear anything. His head was now resting in a small puddle of blood from his ears and he whimpered again.

Shira wrapped his ears up and used a few potions on him. Willow licked his cherk, tears falling down her face.

By now, Eon had passed out but was still breathing. After the potions had been used, his breathing steadied and his ears quickly dried up but he remained unconscious from the concussive power of the shell hitting his protect so close to his body.

Shira looked up and noticed that Char, Shade, Melo and Solar were attacking the tanks. Char seemed ticked but Shade seemed down-right outraged. His attacks were even stronger and more out of control.

The tanks were obviously impervious to all pokemon attacks, not to mention there were hundreds of them. More and more of the armored weapons were stopping now and they began firing on Shira's team.

Shade was now so ticked off the ground started flickering with electricity. He used Thunder with a roar, making one of the tanks explode.

Explode was a relative term. Sparks flew and the tank shut down, but now 50 tanks were attacking them, firing lethal, incindiary, armor piercing shells at the Pokemon. Each one exploded into a massive ball of flame as it hit the ground.
Eon very suddenly woke up and stood, the flames on his back becoming hot white rather than green as he created another, massive protect shield over them.
"Everyone get near me!" he yelled.

Shira held Willow close as the others followed his directions, even Shade

As soon as everyone was close enough, the typhlosion shrunk the protect down so e wasn't wasting energy and it surrounded only them. All 50 or so tanks fired more one more shell at the group, each fiery explosion weakening both te protect and Eon.
After each one had gotten their shots in, they all turned and started forwards on their way again, knocking over the trees once more.
"You're all idiots..." Eon coughed, blood leaking from his nose and a scary amount of blood came from his mouth as he coughed, then he collapsed and the protect dissipated.

Shade roared and took out another 40 tanks, Char helping. Shira began to heal Eon again, worried.

(All the tanks are gone on their merry way now and attacks don't do anything I've been trying to establish that)

(well oops. Fine Shade and Char are standing nearby, protecting them)

Eon whimpered and coughed, more blood flying out his mouth and nose as he did but he remained unconscious. This was obviously worse than potions could fix.

"Char!" Shira stood up. Char picked up Eon and flew him to the nearest pokecenter, Shira and the others following.

The Massive typhlosion whimpered as he was picked up but didn't struggle as he was carried.

The nurses took Eon in and began to treat him. Everyone waited silently in the waiting room.
