From my heart straight to your soul. My freindship and love for you is forever. From the crow river to the missipppi. In the spring flowers roaring rivers. In the lightning and thunder of a summer storm. On a wedding day when a bride and groom become a husband and wife. From my heart straight to your soul. My freindship and love for you is forever. In the fallen leaves of autumn. In blowing fierce wind chills of winter. I toast all my freinds with a bottle of wine. I see you in the rainbow after the rain. In the clouds constellations heavens skies and stars above. From my heart straight to your soul. My freindship and love for you is forever. I remember you in every sunrise and sunset. I pray your hopes and dreams come true. From my heart straight to your soul is forever. My freindship and love for you is forever.(for all my freinds on RPRepository you know who you are ❤❤💕💕)

Nice words.
Distracted
The ink is washing over me
Words sinking in my skin.
The blood is flowing steadily
While I just let it win.
Dread is welling in my brain
But I can’t run away.
Darkest hour fight or flight,
Why hello welcome in.

I have a collection of these on wattpad and am shamelessly promoting myself so please just go read themm.

I Kissed A Girl

I kissed a girl
The other day
10 year's ago

Onstage,
I sang The Eagles
She was there when I got off

Unsure what she was doing there,
I smiled.

She said, "Come here."
Before I knew,
Our lips had touched.

--

We did it again.
And again
And again.
That martini-marinated midnight

We tried to make it last
But the night passed into dawn

In sunlight-soaked sobriety,
It's gone.
In sunlight-soaked sobriety,
It's gone.

I wanted to talk
She apologized
I brought her food
She apologized
She tried to explain,
"It was just a passing mood."

I understood,
And the friendship survived.
You can't chose for someone,
Can't help them decide

They feel, or they don't feel
You've got one shot.
And I didn't know how to catch and be caught.

She said, "What would my mother say? I can't be gay."

I said...

"I know you're not."

--

She got married
and I did too
But sometimes it hits me,
just out of the blue

And I want a martini
Remembering when
I kissed that girl's mouth
Again and again

--
Locked in.
You can imagine,
How they feel.

Something's not working --
The dopamine, the receptors, the nerves, something.
Nothing feels real.

Balls whizz by, birds fly.
The seasons change.
The universe moves.
But they stand still.
I'm glad you took her
'cause I couldn't have
I'm glad you shook her
'cause I wouldn't have

All the energy
In the universe
Would have to
Come to bear
On a single point
Of time and space
To push me hard enough

To ever
Even
Perhaps
Silently
Mouth the word, "no."

As I play my guitars and harmonicas. I pray and remember my freinds. I see them in my dreams and memories. In the melting snows of spring the beauty and rage of a summer thunderstorm. In the burning embers in my fireplace. As I play my guitars and harmonicas. I pray and remember my freinds. In autumn when I walk through the fallen leaves. In the fierce wind chills of a Minnesota winter. In the Christmas lights along the main street where i live. As my guitars and harmonicas. I pray and remember my freinds. In the church bells on Sunday. From my heart straight to your soul only know happiness true love in your life. I might be here or forever gone tomorrow. As my guitar and harmonicas. I pray and remember my freinds.
In the shade of Gil-Var-Del, where the slaves of Molag Bal dwell, dead and fallen start to rise, under broken darkened skies, anchors black and cold as night, take the land into his blight, necromancers bow and pray, to the lord of brutality, in the shade of Gil-Var-Del, where the slaves of Molag Bal dwell.

Past three things
who names have changed
Ten times since years ago

But I could find that restaurant where
We always used to go
I know which way to turn
As if it's etched into my soul

Take Wurzbach south to Fredericksburg
Turn left and there's the sign
Came back with fifteen tacos
These are yours, and these are MINE

What is this?
What's this feeling,
Coming over me this morning.

It's just restaurants,
It's just road names,
It's just signs

It's strange
Waking up
It your hometown
One quiet morning
Where the air itself
Smells like
A vintage wine

Where the spacings
Of the buildings
Feel just right
And it fits you
Like an old glove in the twighlight

And you're not nostalgic
You're not to coming back
But you understand songs about cities
"Under the bridge" with it's "windy kisses"
The city of angels with it's smoggy halo

"Keep Austin Weird" and Remember the Alamo
There's that one place that we all can go
To feel that freaky, low-key, familiarity
And try not to mistake it for destiny

You try not to mistake it for a homesick plea
Of a heart that's "Homeward Bound"

You try to remember the lonliness
You try to remember the snail-slow pace
You try to remember that you never did fit in

You mourn the loss of time with people
You mourn the loss of love
Since this is your hometown,
Not your home

This is a place where my life could've stopped
But instead, it still kept on going
This is a place where I'd given up
But instead, I still kept growing.

Destiny calls
In the shopping malls
In the sprawling highways
In the Makers Spaces

Destiny calls
In the Tolltag bills
In the art museums
In the quirkiest places

But it's strange
Waking up
It your hometown
One quiet morning
Where the air itself
Smells like
A vintage wine

Where the spacings
of the buildings
feel just right
And it fits you
like an old glove
In the twighlight

Waking up in San Antonio
Knowing every way to go
This city is my friend
It's in my bones
Truly a beautiful poem Abigail

Between you and me. You're going to know my desires and fires. Strip me out of my working colthes. Let me reveal my satin and lace to my man. All the mysteries to me. Look upon my blessed face. Tonight you're booked with me. You'll never want to leave. Between you and me. You're going to know my desires and fires. Let me show you my affection love sweetness tenderness. From evening to morning. To be alone with me is where you belong. Between you and me. You're going to know my desires and fires. You bought me babydolls champagne roses. You healed my scars and wounds. Let me kiss away yours. I'll be the Sioux warrior you can't resist. Taste my honey lips we'll be hip to hip. Between you and me. You're going to know my desires and fires. I'll be your woman if you'll be my man. I'll take you to the promised land. You finally stopped the river of tears I was crying. From my heart straight to your soul. I'll be your angel from heaven above. I'll fill your world with love. Between you and me. You're going to know my desires and fires.

Why do we profess our hopes and dreams,
Based off of what merely seems
But which will collapse in scars and screams
By tomorrow’s dawn?

How can we fathom such ‘great desires,’
These things that may ‘burn like fires,’
When we are nothing but thieves and liars
If it comes to hope?

If we are honest, what’s to say
That it won’t end tragically,
With armored Death and then Judgement Day,
With hope forgotten?

Hope is all bitter, bittersweet,
For though Death we’ll never beat,
We may yet traverse and fin’ly meet
Life’s accomplishments.

I’m enjoying reading everyone’s poems. Thank you, all, for sharing. :)

Tonight with a bottle of wine. I'll be your angelic angel babe. Behind my bedroom door. I'll leave my working colthes on the floor. I'll kiss away all the sadness scars and wounds of the day you took all day. Tonight with a bottle of wine. I'll be your angelic angel babe. Look upon my blessed face. You're booked with me til dawn. With me is where you belong. You can't resist me in this sexy babydoll. Taste my honey lips. Tonight with a bottle of wine. I'll be your angelic angel babe. Between a man and a woman so much to give share together. The defeats memories victories of the day. I'll take you to the promised land. I'll defend and will fight for my man. You calmed my fears dried my tears. Let's make love in the candlelight. Tonight with a bottle of wine. I'll be your angelic angel babe.

Another Reality
It was at this point that I sent a summary of my life to inform somebody it wasn't possible

I was there in another time, another place,
maybe it was a dimension in another space
A woman I know, or would come to know
I would see her, feel her, touch her, watch her go

Oh to hear her sing, to see her play, to watch her dance, to see her eyes,
Or maybe just read her thoughts in words, imagining her face in the skies

It happened in another time, in another place, in years gone by, or by tomorrow’s grace
Another reality, on another day, maybe another world, far from this place.

A world apart, a distance in years, to reach out in care, to wipe away tears
To wonder what would come to be, in another reality, in faraway years
It’s like I know you, as a friend and a lover,
Across al the lost loves that we could not recover

I was there in another time, you were here in another place
A chasm between us, a dimensional divide across time and space
In another reality, a place we cannot go
Our souls are dancing, I can feel it so

That's deep, and sad, and I relate, and an excellent poem.
