Here's the first real poem I've ever written.

Everyone's wearing the same shade of red today.
It's the same red as my sad, tired eyes
After hopeful rejuvenation.

Secrets come to light in the evening.
Hidden behind twin layers of blue light
A promise is fulfilled at last.
I show her my key.

The old machine is responsible for recent mistakes,
Discovered all too late after nervous wondering.
Divine exhortation nips at my heels
But I keep walking,
Sour milk on my tongue.
I just typed this one up. Not entirely satisfied with it, but here it is.

If I knew her
Half as well as I say,
Then so suddenly
And entirely without warning,
Would she disappear
If only I'd let her?
Avid writer and reader,
you would think I would be simpler
yet I wish to prove you wrong
my words entrance
their beauty enchants
I may charm
or go for your heart
the opposite can also be said
my words are my weapon
for with every word and sentence
a wound I can open
a scar I may leave
so think wisely how you treat me
I am a rose
that bears her thorns
a fire that dances
and burns without mercy
and every sentence
every word
only feeds me
feeds my love
fuels my rage

Under Deep, below the dark, hidden keep, tower Mzark.

Short, I know, but it’s all I got right now.
Our hands wander
Grasping for one another

Our hands wander
And they pry open,
The old wounds

Our hands wander
And they try to divine some meaning,
From the red skin,
The new skin,
Growing underneath
Life Goes On

Life goes on like a line,
though it is quite hard to define.
Is it a flowing river,
or more of a waterfall?
A collection of mountain ranges,
or a book with seemingly endless pages?

Life goes on for a short while,
almost like a trial.
A start date,
with an end date to anticipate.
Or is it a place,
not a time, but a space?

Life goes on and can be recorded with time,
with ups and downs,
can turn around,
and a prime.

Life goes on and as you grow,
the more you can know.
So go out and learn,
have fun that you can yearn.
Today you're alive and that's all that matters,
make sure to make the best of it before it scatters.

a limerick i call "i try endearing myself to others"

nothing interesting to leer
just a bean, sitting here
conjugating verbs in my room
thinking about doctor doom
mostly, his evil maskéd rear

Haha...
Little Queen Dove,
With her fine chestnut hair,
With her soft blue eyes,
And her eagle nose,
And her gentle, pale skin,
Had made her decision.

She lowered her dagger,
From the cleft of her breast
And decided to fly,
From the balcony.

In the evening in the morning. I long to see your handsome face. You made me strong again I belong again. You are my everything. I tune my basses I sing into the Mic. You bring me babydolls champagne roses. From the fierce cold of winter the melting snows of spring you are my everything. Before my roaring fireplace I reveal my satin and lace to my man. You have my heart love soul spirit. Let me take you to the promised land never forget. You are my everything.

In the rains of spring in the thunderstorms of summer. I confess my crimes and sins to you. Forever your warrior and woman. In the fallen leaves of autumn. The fierce wind chills of winter Alone you and I in my teepee staying warm. Forever your warrior and woman. I fight my battles and wars for acceptance. When all I ever have known are hate crimes oppression prejudice racism in this world. Forever your warrior and woman. From custers last stand to both wounded knees. My ancestors and I fought to protect our land. Bleeding tears no white man understands. I'll defend you with my heart love soul spirit. Forever your warrior and woman.(for a man who actually loves and understands me)

I'm a Lakota Sioux indian from the pine ridge reservation. I fricking love you. Yes it's about my ancestors and our history.
A midnight walk,
as I look at a singular grass stalk.
The lamppost shined a dim light,
highlighting my eternal plight.
Everybody disappears,
nobody around.
On my face,
tears.
But the most beautiful thing of all,
was you leaning onto that wall.

That is beautiful!
To sappy the one below is much better and is going to be a song.
Monochrome

The world was full of light
With you by my side
The grass was green,
The sky a baby blue
Color filled every space
Every place
Songs floated through the air
I laughed,
I smiled,
I jumped and danced,
Knowing you were with me.

But when you went
The color left
Songs faded
And there was no longer light.

My world became muted
I saw in monochrome
The greens, blue, pinks, reds,
Became no more than
Blacks, whites, and greys
I no longer laughed,
Smiled, or jumped or danced
Not with you not by my side.

Isn't that how it always is?
When you loose someone you love?
Light turns to dark
Happy turns to sad
And color
Turns to monochrome.

Wax Play

Sickeningly sweet the darkness meets the light.
Secretly the whispers make you sweat between the sheets.
Every call out, every word, you're hanging by a thread.
Say you're sorry, do it again and watch them lose their heads.
Dripping from the melt of the flame, the lashing back at you only feeds your game.
It's bliss like every angry word hissed between your teeth.
Lying to yourself only makes the darkness delightfully weak.
So lie but don't dare, because you know the truth.
