(Well, it honestly looks like everyone abandoned this pretty quick. That's just lame.)
Sharp, cold, hollow bright lights soon woke Malovent back from near death...a dull beep of every heartbeat and hushed murmurs in the room..no darkness and devils, just a hospital and a warm blanket. She couldn't feel her leg, but she was alive. Her father was outside a window(never wrote him, would prefer not to) busy speaking with someone and when she tried to sit up she immediately noticed the sling on her right arm, her right side was out of commission for the time, and when her father finally looked over...she knew a long conversation would be had.
He had belief in her, but when authorities tried to get answers, they did not. Their truth was she had tripped in the street and been mangled by a car, no demons in the night nor bear traps.
Her arm was luckily only sprained, and her father had already found a decent enough prothstetic leg for her...and as stubborn as they both where, Malovent limped out of the intensive care in only a few hours, able to meet a rising sun and eventually return home...shook and harrowed by the experience..the morphine helped, and she eventually tried to reach out to a friend...Raven perhaps, as she used a landline and phone book to call around and eventually find her number..
