Rae didn't like this, she hated human stuff. She placed her hands slightly on him, growling. " If I get hurt, I'll not go easy. " She said, smiling. She looked at hands, wanting to have her claws.
He tapped the armor, "hold tight then! I'm sure the armor can take a bear hug." Then he revved the engine to let the wing girl know he was leaving. He did so very slowly, with the lights on ahead. He traveled slowly until he got to the road where he gunned it.
Rae grabbed onto him when they went fast. She closed her eyes, not looking. " Please don't kill me, please don't hurt me. " She muttered. She tensed up and felt the air going past her. In some way it was soothing, but she was still scared.
Hunter smiled. "First time on a motorcycle?" He looked up to check and see if the flyer was still wit them.
Isobel followed the sound of the motorcycle as it went slow, and then fast when it reached the road. She laughed in giddy joy as she matched his speed. She flew down a little lower and behind them. "Isn't it wonderful Rae??" She yelled over the wind.
Rae nodded her head, slowly opening her eyes. " I usually run every where. " She said simply. She slowly looked at Isobel. She yelled, not wanting to hurt Hunter's ears. " Pretty scary if you ask me! But I can adjust to the open air! "
"Interesting! Well we to stop soon anyways, I need gas!" He hit 80 mph and had to yell it to her.
Isobel laughed and flew up higher before an oncoming car could see her. She rolled in the air, grinning happily. Flying always made her happier.
Rae held onto him tighter, she had never been this fast. She dug her head into his suit, not wanting to look. " Tell me when its over! " She yelled.
The Hunter turned off on the next exit and pulled into a small gas station. He parked it infront of a pump and cut the engine. "We're here." He took off the helmet and placed it on the handle.
Rae quickly got off, not wanting to get on that thing again. " That 'thing' is really scary. " She had a childish side of her. She turned and looked at Isobel. She gained a small amount of trust with him there, but not enough.
Isobel landed behind the gas station. When she came out to where they'd stopped, she was in her windbreaker, covering her wings. She'd grabbed a pair of discarded sunglasses and had them replace her bandages. "So, how was your ride Rae?"
Rae looked at the motorcycle. " I hated ever part of it. You made me sit near him. " She said, laughing. " But its still evil. "
Hunter stripped the armor and put it back inside the bike before locking it. He took the keys out and pocketed them. "You ladies wait here and I'll go pay for gas. If you have to use the restroom use it now."
Isobel grinned at her. "What, he can't be that bad to ride with. I probably would've gotten a bike already, if I weren't blind. It seems like the closest thing to flying that humans have made." She thought about it and corrected herself. "Well, other than skydiving."
Rae looked at Hunter, just letting him be. " I don't like his aura... " She whispered to Isobel. Her emerald eyes looked at him. " It's changed a bit, but... I just can't figure out what is with him. When I was on the bike, I could feel his aura, it had changed. But I think there is still something about him... " She said. She couldn't get over it.
Hunter walked into the building and gave the man a twenty out of his pocket. After a minute or two of small talk he walked across the store and entered the bathroom.
Meanwhile there was a rustle in the bushes outside. Something glinted in the moonlight in the ditch on the side of the road. The night became still. Terribly terribly stll. bushes all around them suddenly became quiet as if they had stopped being shaken. There was another glint somewhere to the left, away from the rode.

Rae saw the small glints. Her emerald eyes locked onto them. " Isobel we have company. " She said, grabbing her dagger. She watched its movement, kinda hoping she didn't need to fight.
"Put the weapon down and get on the ground, now!" The voice came from the bushes and sounded like it was from a microphone. He didn't seem too kind either.
Isobel's hand was already pulling her staff out when she heard the voice. "Already??"
