"You're not the only one who lost someone you loved Rae." Isobel's voice trembled and she let her hands fall. "I should've been able to heal him. I should've been able to keep him alive." Her voice had dropped to barely above a whisper. "We were in trouble and he died to save the both of us." She walked closer to his grave and slowly traced the words. Tears streamed down her cheeks. "Don't stop feeling, Rae. When you can't feel yourself you lose yourself."
Rae listened to her and brushed the dirt off her clothes. " If I don't have my emotions on, I don't feel. I don't feel any pain when I ripe someone's heart out of their chest. I don't fell when I kill children. I no longer want to feel, I want to be someone who doesn't care. I don't want to have to go through all the pain I went through. I starved myself for three months cause of his death and I lived in the shadows. I turned it off that day, ventured out, and killed someone. " There were no tears in her eyes. They looked like stone, never showing any emotion like they used to.
((I like Hunter too much to ignore him. Here is a teaser for ya! It has no current impact on the RP but it is something. Sorry for an bad grammar or spelling, I am using my iPod to do this at school))
Hunter's eyes opened to fire engulfing the area around him. The room was tinted red by it's flames. I'm in Hell, he thought. Through a hole in the wall Hunter could see the huge demon preparing for it's feast as it sharpened it's claws against one another. Spotting his rifle laying on the ground before him, he slowly reached out for it. Even in the outskirts of Hell he could still put a daemon in its place.
As his gauntlet grasped the gun, he pulled himself, with a sore body, into a sitting position. A flame licked at his left arm, but the cooling agent in his suit spared him the pain. It's not so bad here, he thought to himself, I'll have to come back sometime. Hefting rifle up, his HUD connected to it's system, displaying the gun's information at the bottom of the screen. The daemon still fiddled with his claws in the kitchen, repairing damage Hunter had already done. A half smile crept onto Hunter's visor-hidden face as the thought of how cliché his revival act was with this demon. That fact, however, did not stop his from the job. "Hey ugly!" He called out, leaping to his feet.
The daemon spun, roaring in anger that his opponent was still alive. Before he could react Hunter pressed down on the trigger, sending a hail storm of ammunition into the beast's chest. When it stumbled but did not fall, Hunter removed his supporting hand from the rifle and armed his wrist rockets while emptying his clip into the daemon. Soon the gun clicked and it gave out a hideous burst of laughter.
"Stupid human," said the chaotic voice as the daemon began towards him. "You should have stayed dead."
The smirk returned on the Custodian's face. "I'd rather stay alive, unlike you." Quickly he passed the rifle to his left hand, aimed his right arm, and from the bulky piece of equipment fired a single, small rocket. It thumped into the daemon's chest and, wit a directed blast, blew through the other side. A boom covered the beast's roar as it was knocked back, falling to the floor.
Calmly Hunter put his gun away and disarmed his wrist rockets. Pulling his combat knife out of its slot in his chests late, Hunter approached the daemonic corpse. By the time he had gotten to it it hand changed from the giant, reddish creature, to the figure of an innocent old woman. Hunter kneeled down quickly and pressed the blade into its heart, assuring the thing's death.
As he stood back up a call came in on his HUD. "Hunter's killing services, what can I slaughter for you today?" He answered.
"Complete your mission yet? We have a distress signal coming in from one if our stations in the south."
"How far south?"
"The pole. Some unknown creature is rampaging around killing scientists."
Hunter, after sidestepping a falling, flaming beam, exited the house and walked into the raining natural world. "Nothing I can't handle," he said simply, then after a moment added, "How are Isobel and Rae?" As he spoke he watched the burning house collapse in on itself.
Greg was silent a moment. "Right now they are at your grave. Rae's lost it. We can hardly keep another custodian from eliminating her. Isobel is there now, though, and I am praying she calms her down. If she has another repeat of today I can't help her."
With the house reduced to rubble, and the forest and rain concealing the smoke, Hunter walked back to his motorcycle. "What happened today, and do they know we are keeping tabs on them?"
"They ran into the fae, the one you gave the arrow to. Almost ended in disaster. Thankfully he realize who she was from the story you told him. This time, though, the girl was with him. I don't think you met her." Realized he forgot to answer one of the questions, Greg added, "no, they don't know. Mostly we use satellite surveillance."
Hunter sighed. "Keep them safe Greg. I put my trust in you with there lives. I don't want to have to save them again."
"You know you can't do that. They cannot know you survived. Nobody but us can."
Hunter climbed on to the motorcycle and brought it to live after activating it with his HUD. "I know, I'll head to base and catch a ride to the pole." His voice betrayed him, displaying somewhat his hatred of leaving even more friends behind.
"The cons cracked as the bike caused temporary interference. "Hunter, where are you anyways?"
"I'm in Hell. Hell, Michigan." Hunter hung up the call and zipped away.

((Heck yeah!!))
Isobel shook her head. "Having no emotions isn't that great Rae. You lose yourself until you're nothing better than a machine, a tool. We may not be human, but we can still feel." She absentmindedly ran her hand through her wing, over where it had been broken. "All this pain and sorrow, it carves deep...but a deep bowl holds much more happiness and love than a shallow one. Everyone's felt the loss of someone they cared about."

Rae growled at Isobel and grabbed her arm. She had blocked out some of her words and now was ready to prove a point. She squeezed Isobels arm with a force that would hurt anyone, but she never realized it. " It's time to show you the new Rae. " She turned and began to run, pulling her along.
Rae had pulled Isobel to a hospital. The people wore blue coats and were highly ranked. " You remember Sarge, well he's helped me out. Given me more strength and power than before. " She now let go of Isobel's arm and turned into a werewolf. Her werewolf form was bigger than before and Sarge had given her the true ability to change when she wanted. Though they were problems like she always wanted to kill, she went through with it. " I'll make them scream just so you can hear them.. " Slowly and carefully, Rae stalked towards the group of scientist who were outside enjoying the nice day. Rae's white coat stood out, but the scientist were to busy. Rae took not a moment forward and jumped onto her prey. She bit into a girls neck, quickly killing her. The people had pulled their guns out and pointed them all at Rae.
Rae had also learned new tricks with humans. She let out a whimper and curled into a ball. The people slightly lowered their guns and Rae jumped onto the middle scientist. She now dog her claws on his shoulders and he let a loud yell out. They were three more men, but one was running away. She turned into her human form, sliding on one of the dead mans jackets. Blood covered her body in her human form. The two guys had guns pointed at her, but she grabbed them and threw them to the side. " Thank you for letting me do my purpose in life. " A grin appeared on her face. In a quick movement, Rae shoved her hands in the two mans chest. She grabbed their hearts and then yanked them out. Their bodies fell to the floor and she walked towards Isobel. " Trust me darling, I'm never changing. " She rubbed her hands on the jacket she stole and grabbed her old clothes. She slipped them on and threw the jacket to the side.

Isobel felt sick. The smell of blood and death was everywhere now. She wanted to press her hands to her ears, run and hide from this new monstrous Rae. Not out of fear, but in a vain attempt to still naively believe that Rae wasn't doing this. She had to be stopped. Isobel guessed that very soon, Custodians would be swarming the place, subduing her themselves. She knew that when they saw her, they'd probably guess she was with Rae and try to kill her too, but how many more lives would Rae take before they got here?
"Rae stop!" Isobel put herself between Rae and the rest of the hospital, staff in hand. She would not let her by. She knew what Sarge had given her now. It seemed slightly different than before. There didn't seem to be a set goal for Rae, simply the absence of emotion. She felt on the verge of crying. First she'd lost Hunter, and now Rae was lost to her too. "Please stop, Rae. Please, please don't make me do this."

Rae growled and grabbed Isobel by the throat. " You don't have the right to tell me anything, hybrid. " She threw her to the side and looked at the one man who had yelled. Tears streamed down his face, which were mixed with blood. Rae shoved her hand in his chest and pulled him up. The man coughed blood and struggled to speak. " They'll get you.... You mutt. " Rae yanked his heart out of his chest and let go of his body. There was silence and she whipped her hands on his coat. Her body was like a painting of blood, only some of her skin not covered. " Isobel... Get used to it.. I'm completing my purpose in life. " She grabbed the gun that they had dropped and twirled it in her hands. " The question is if I should kill you now or wait... "
Isobel stood up and brushed herself off. She shook her head and smiled bitterly. "I wonder who'll win, the original first or the new version." She spoke quietly to herself. She knew what she had to do, and she hated it. "As for when you'll have to kill me, you'd better do it now because if you don't," at this point her words changed into a monotone. "I will kill you." The promise she'd made never to trigger the programming again had been broken. The expressions of defiance and sorrow slid from her face. She grew as still as a mannequin.
By the time Rae and Isobel were threatening eachother Hunter was already pulling into the privately owned hospital. He had been on his way to the station tha would take him to his next mission when he received a call from Greg, alerting him of his friends activities.
"It's ugly. Rae's killed several more in a hospital. She has gone way over, she's on a murder spree."
Hunter had waited a minute before a spoke, and Grenunderstood what he was considering. "I have to take her down."
"Yes, you do," responded Greg, "I'm sending the coordinates to your system. They aren't too far from your location."
Minutes later he arrived where Greg had marked. Climbing off of his motorcycle Hunter pulled his rifle off his back and detached the wrist rockets. He did'nt need them hindering his combat. Approaching the hospital with a drawn rifle, Hunter soon came to the large glass double doors. A bullet hole had shattered the top half of the left door. Hunter knew this was the right place.
Hoping to save a life by drawing attention Hunter kicked an armored boot into the door, shattering t completely. He entered, sweeping the hallway. When he came across the two girls he halted his progress. "Supernatural Guardian, get on the ground!" He yelled. In emphasis a laser sight from his rifle landed a dot on Rae's chest, where her heart was. "On the floor."

Isobel barely even registered Hunter's entrance. If he'd come earlier she would've felt a whole mess of feelings; surprise, confusion, anger, hurt. As it was, she hardly acknowledged him. Her head tilted slightly when she heard him approach. After deciding he wasn't a threat and didn't block her objective, she walked slowly towards Rae, twisting her staff into its two swords.
Isobel had been considered the first success in creating a non-feeling soldier. Speed, stamina, and strength all increased incredibly while any and all emotions were blotted out. Like any success, this programming had its flaws. There had to be an objective given, only one, at the triggering of the programming. The subject would not be able to feel emotions or really make any kind of ethical decision a normal person might. This was not really considered a flaw by the scientists, only that she could only be given one objective at a time. The other flaw was that she was not able to access her energy. Without being able to shoot her energy, she was limited to close combat, unless given a gun. The subject also was not able to lie, unless its objective was to lie about one subject in specific. They weren't able to puzzle out this effect, and this was the flaw that frustrated them the most. It made this programming unfit for reconnaissance missions as she could easily give herself away.

Rae heard the familiar voice and turned her head. The silence off the air and the sound of the voice rang through her. Her emerald colored eyes looking at the red dot on her heart. Then they followed to where the red dot was coming from. No... It can't be.. He was dead! Her thoughts rang through her mind and she stepped back. " You... " The emotions flooded through her mind and body like a river, non stop. " You were dead! " She said, growling a bit at the end.
The wolf inside of her made her remembered who else was there, Isobel. This Isobel did not seem to be shaken by how Rae had killed the man. All emotions were blocked and she smiled. " I hate to ruin the moment, but I don't bow down to people. " She said and turned quickly to her right. She began to ran and burst through a door. The door led to a hallway with more doors, the perfect hiding place. Rae snuck off into one of the many doors and began to try and hide.

"Dammit," said Hunter as his target fled. He should have not warned her, he should have just pulled the trigger when he had the jump on her. "Run all you want, but don't waste my time by hiding," he called as he raised his rifle back up and followed in pursuit. Intense raining had made him capable of focusing on the mission.
He ran across the hall to where Rae had sprinted from, and turned to follow her tracks. Isobel was ignored by Hunter as she posed no threat to him but was threatened by the werewolf. Hunter gave commands to his system, which brought up a heat scan of the building. To one of his sides, in another room, Hunter saw Rae's heat signature appear.
"It's over. Come quietly and you end painlessly." As heatless as it sounded, that was as nice as he could be. If he did not shoot her someone else would, and they would make it a lot more painful. One way or another it had to end. Either he would die, or she would.

Rae tried to hide her best, but she knew she were to die. Her emerald eyes filled with tears and her throat felt tight. Isobel and Hunter were now out of her life, completely. This was not of Rae, nor the werewolf inside of her. Rae walked out of the room and towards the figure. Her emerald eyes looke up, how could she have been so stupid? " If I am to die, I hope you feel all the pain I experienced. " Rae moved her strawberry blonde hair off her neck and undid her necklace. The emerald jewel reflected the light from the ceiling.
Rae threw her necklace towards Hunter. " The only part of me that still likes you is hidden in that little necklace. So please go burn it and crush it. You might as well tell all your buddies your about to kill me. " She looked at where she believed Hunters eyes. " Never forget the day in the hospital. " A tear dropped from her eye and she waited for Hunter to end her life.

((Sorry guys, Spring Break was crazy busy!))
Isobel followed them calmly. She made no reaction to Hunter's appearance than the tilting of her head in his direction. She dismissed him as a threat, as he seemed to be more intent on Rae than interfering with her mission or harming her. The tips of the twin swords in her hands hung just above the floor. She held them in a loose but firm grip as she stepped over the body of one of Rae's victims.
Soon, she reached the room that Rae and Hunter were in, catching the last part of their conversation. She stopped by the doorway. Hunter seemed quite prepared and able to finish off Rae himself, and as long as she died, Isobel's mission would be complete so she didn't interfere. Her face was as blank as that of a child staring at a tv.

((Let's have a kick butt ending, eh?))
Hunter trembled. For the first time in his life he trembled as he aimed his rifle down at his target. "This is your fault!" He yelled at her. "Everything could be okay, but you're a monster! You're a sick, murderous beast Hell-bent on the demise of my race." His gun lowered, then he raised it back up and re-aimed it. Behind his visor his eyes started to water. "I disappeared to save the both of you, but you had to betray me and the trust I had in you. DAMN YOU. DAMN YOU RAE! You've betrayed the both of us," he yelled, referencing Isobel and himself.
"Dammit, why did you have to do this!? My friend died for you. You're a sick, twisted beast, and you deserve what you get!" Hunter yelled, his emotion ever so clear in his voice. As much as he was speaking, he was just hesitating to do his job.

The words Hunter spoke stung Rae deeply. Every word he said made her emotions build up.
It's to late Rae! You can't be that girl again.
Rae's eyes watered and she took a step forward. " In my eyes, everything is different Hunter. Your people try to kill my people, I'm trying to survive... " Tears filled her eyes and she walked closer. There was a couple feet between them. " You thought leaving would save me? After that kiss and after these emotions I've built up for you? No, you leaving helped made me like this. It is rare for me to ever feel emotions for a human, but somehow you squirmed your way into my life and mixed with my head. I could have died back at the hospital, I should have. " Rae had tears streaming down her face, but walked closer. Hunter was at least two feet away from her.

Isobel stood silently, waiting for Hunter to pull the trigger. She listened to the exchange of words. Such strongly emotion-filled words and yet they did not touch her. She listened with a bored expression on her face. Sure she might have had a few things to say herself but all her emotions were in a box created and locked by genetic engineering. She moved forward smoothly and silently, her swords glinting as she moved them. "If you cannot bring yourself to finish the girl, Custodian, then I will." Her low monotone words were the first she'd spoken since triggering the accursed programming engineered into her years ago.
Her movements which had been slow at first became lightning fast, even faster than when she'd fought Hunter. Isobel's strength had also increased dramatically from before. She closed the space between her and Rae instantly, slamming the blunt handle of one of her swords into Rae's chest. It could not have been said why she didn't just use the blade but that fact wasn't even spared a thought.

Hunter was surprised by the hit that came from Isobel. He didn't expect her to hit Rae, but that hardly impacted anything. "No," Hunter said, "you should have died when I first had the chance." His voice confirmed his chosen action, and it was followed. Hunter's finger closed around his trigger, sending bullets tearing down through the barrel of his rifle.
Rae gasped for breathe after Isobel's hit. She didn't expect her to do this, defiantly not what Hunter did. Fear took over her and her eyes were filled with tears. Right when Hunter spoke those words, Rae knew the next step he would do. Even with the pain from Isobel, she tried to move to the side when Hunter got ready to shot. The rounds unloaded into her stomach. She screamed in pain and gasped for air. Some of the bullets missed, but a good deal hit her. Her hands went to her stomach, which got covered in blood. " I.... " She coughed and struggled to move. Rae moved her hand, reaching the red covered hand towards Hunter. " I'm sorry... " Her hand fell to the ground and she coughed. Blood dripped down her chin and she tried to breathe. Her breathe was soft and she struggled. Rae's mouth moved, a soft whisper came out of if. " I love you... " Her breaths struggled and tears ran down her face.
