"Come with me," spoke the 'hunter boy' calmly. As he spoke he tapped his chest right above his tactical knife, his thumb rubbing silently past the hilt.

She understood now, and couldn't help the small smile that twitched on her lips. He wasn't here to take them back, just to clean up the mess of normal people finding out supernatural was real. Convince people that the flying girl and wolfy girl didn't exist. "A janitor for the freaky, huh?" She figured they were pretty much out of danger and reached into the pocket of her windbreaker tied at her waist. She pulled out a roll of white linen bandages and started wrapping it around her eyes--or what should have been her eyes at least.

Isobel walked over to where Rae was humming and healed her bullet wounds. Her own jaw was starting to bruise slightly, but she couldn't do anything about that. "Would you still be friends with a janitor?" She asked her quietly.

The visored face showed no expression as Hunter stood there quietly. He was talking quietly on the coms network in his HUD. Targets secured. They were a piece of cake. A pause as he listened to the other talk. Kill them. Then communication was cut as he went radio silent. It would take supernatural hearing to even have a chance of knowing he was talking.

He took a step forward towards the girls. "So what is it to be?"

Rae did her best human 'growl'. She looked at who she called hunter boy. " I don't trust him.. " She said, then snapped at her. " Why do you all of a sudden care about me? " She said. She walked on a bit then back. She wasn't good about stuff like this. " I don't know. " Her emerald eyes stared at him. She walked towards Hunter Boy. " I need to do something.. " She said.

Hunters hand went to the back of his neck as he stepped forward even mroe. "Yeah? And what is that?"

Isobel's hearing was definitely on the supernatural level, and what she heard made her blood boil. How close she'd been to wrongly trusting someone. Again. Still turned away from the man in suit, facing Rae, Isobel's face fell. So much for a new life... When she turned around, her face was hopeful and happy. "Can we go now then?" Night had fallen and she felt the cooling of the earth and air around her. She held out her hand like she was going to accept the hunter's offer, feeling her mixed up emotions of anger and betrayal build up. Her hand grew hot and there was a flash of light in the hunter's direction. As she felt it leave her hand, she sensed it was like the opposite of her healing power, a dark light. She lifted up her hand in surprise. "Cool."

Rae watched Isobel then Rae simply touch her finger on Hunter Boy's chest. She closed her eyes, feeling his aurora. Her eyes shot open, those emerald eyes staring into his. She cursed at him, well at least under her breathe. " You son of .. " She didn't say anything else when she his knife. " Drop your weapons. " She demanded.

The bolt of light landed on what looked like a circle on the side of the helmet. It sparked and his coms went out. Quickly Hunter brought his armored knee into the Rae's stomache and stepped back, pulling his sword out quickly, his hand was already near it. "Well if you didn't want to go you could have said so." He let a swear out when he noticed his coms were down. Thankfully his armor was made to take magical hits and it took the damage, not him.

Hunter took two more steps back as he brandished the black tactical sword. It made no glint in the moonlight, it seemed more to obsorb it than anything else. This was thanks to its special make-up. As a Supernatural custodian all of his weapons were bade the same, blades and bullets. They contained silver and flakes blessed splinters. The two were added to an un-named element that was extremely hard and gave it its shadowy look. This made it powerfull enough to cut through thick furs and skin. Lastly the mixture was cooled with holly water. Together this was the perfect weapon.

Rae grabbed at her stomach, groaning. She looked at Isobel, hatred burning in her emerald eyes. She knew something was with him. She tried to crawl back, but that knee nailed her pretty good. She tried to stand up and actually did. She grabbed a large piece of wood, bowed her head, and then opened her eyes. " I'm ready. "

Isobel gripped her only remaining sword, not sure where the other had fallen. She heard the sound of him pulling his own sword out, though it strangely seemed to absorb it's own sound even as it was making it, like the opposite of an echo. It made it hard to place place just where it was, though not impossible, as there was a slight instant between when the sword made sound and when it absorbed it. She'd have to focus hard to hear it.

"You don't learn do you?" He shrugged, pulled out his pistol, and emptied the powerfull rounds at Rae, rather accurately too. All eight rounds went towards the legs, aimed to temporarily or permanently disable the crazy beast. "You're [fricken] crazy, you know that?" He sounded angry. "You had one job!" He released the clip and slammed the gun down onto a new waiting on hooked on his armor. He backed up as he did this. Once it was loaded he aimed it again. Still backing up. "This is why we can't have nice things."

Hunter took one too many steps back as he stepped into the hole dug earlier. He fell back as his gun fell out of his hand. The armor locked up to stop him from spraining or pulling anything. That was nice except now he had to unlock it and get out.

Isobel blended in with the darkness perfectly, but didn't fall into the comfort it might have brought in a fight. No doubt, that fancy suit he had on would still allow him to see her. She stepped between Rae and the hunter. She was trying to replicate the light surge that had come out of her hand earlier, but wasn't meeting with much success. "Looks like it's down to regular weapons..." She grumbled. Isobel was itching to kneel down to Rae and heal her again, but she had to focus on having the both of them surviving at the moment.

Isobel jumped on their moment of luck and moved towards the fallen hunter. She kicked where the gun had fallen, hitting it into the woods. She pointed her sword down at Hunter. "Come on out."

"Well if you insist." Hunter actually was only part way in the hole. He had one leg out and one leg against the wall when his armor locked up. He unlocked it and lunged to the side, dirt exploding as he collapsed part of the little dirt wall, as he rolled he pulled out his tactical knife. It was of the same material. "Any other requests?"

"Oh, a glass of water would be nice," Isobel said as she squared off against him. "And maybe if you stopped trying to kill us. That would be great." She was considering triggering her training. She hated doing so though for several reasons. Thinking of who gave them to her was one, and the fact that she turned off all emotion was another.

"My sincerest apologies your highness." Hunter twirl of the hand as if he were to bow. "If you don't want to die then stop trying to kill," he said matter-of-factly. He crouched a little, he needed to use agility with the tactical knife, not power. Even though it was a large blade, it was nothing compared to a sword, although he could wield it fairly well.

"Who said I was trying to kill you?" Isobel focused again on tapping into her power, telling it exactly what she wanted to do. She felt a moment of gleeful accomplishment when it worked. Just one little cut... She moved fast and swung her sword, twisting it and pulling it back in the last minute, her aim to just scratch enough to draw a blood. She'd infused her sword with the dark light, not to kill, but to temporarily paralyze.

Hunter dodged by lunging to the side and rolling again. "Nice trick. I might be able to try one too." The green lines in his heavy black armor glowed through the night's darkness. He stood up. He brushed himself off, being at a safe distance from the girl. He knocked on his armor and a green, semi-transparent sheet intercepted his metal knuckles a centimeter before it touched it. "Did you know I have one of the new suits being issued to Supernatural Custodians? My favorite feature? It manipulates energy." He smiled behind his visor as it worked. "System, run defense code three dash two." With those words little green, semi-transparent hexagons began appearing on his left arm, forming a surging, shimmering shield. Thank goodness for beta. He only hoped it worked now.

"It's a pitty I can't just take you in. You had alot ahead of you."

Many miles away a frantic Mark tried to reach Hunter on the communication system. The last conversation was quick:
"How's the mission?"
"Targets secure. They were a piece of cake."
"Nice job! Did you have an original plan when you went in there?"
"Kill them."
"Well that's a bit different than your plan now. We'll fortify the garage and remove the weapons." He stopped the link and went to work. But then he couldn't contact him again when his communications signal went out.
Now Mark was worried. If they took out Hunter then he would need something to be done, so he called up an old friend... A shady old friend. He put his droid up to his ear as he heard it ring through the speaker. One ring, two ring, three ring, then an answer.
"Arthol Extermination Service, what needs killing?" The voice was male, and while it sounded friendly, it also sounded like it belonged to someone you would not want to mess with.
"Arty, I need a favor."
"Mark! Nice to hear from you. What does my old friend need?"
"One of my collegues just lost coms in a mission. I need you to go take care of things."
There was a two breath laugh on the other side. "I'll ready the boys. It seems we have some bugs to kill." He hang up.

Isobel frowned in frustration. "You just can't make it easier for anyone, can you?" It seemed the hunter was an all-or-nothing. Either kill him or get killed. She had to respect that, but right now it annoyed her. And that suit was slowly getting higher on her list of things that she just wanted to destroy. In a fiery blaze. Even though she had to admit it was pretty cool.

"I don't make it easy for anyone!" He smiled a hidden smile under his orange visor. The HUD showed the power level he could sustain with this energy barrier on his arm. "Besides, I'm having fun learning to use this suit. I'll try attacking with energy later!" He smiled again. The bodies were highlighted thanks to the HUD again. He twirled the knife a few times. "Come at me."

"Well, if you insist..." Isobel drew the dagger from her waist with her free hand. She reached back in her mind for the trigger. Dislike of what she was doing melted away with the rest of her feelings. There was only calculating thoughts when she became like this, and reactions. She reviewed everything she knew that might help in her mind; the hole dug by Rae, not likely to work twice...;the willow tree, just a little ways behind them; the hunter's fighting pattern, only "seen" him fight with guns so far really; and the energy manipulating suit. In the next few seconds she had a fully formed plan.

Isobel drew the energy from her sword back, turning it back into a regular sword. She lunged at him with her sword swinging sharply and a lot faster than before, keeping her dagger close. She swung low in an attempt to fake out and whip the sword up and catch him across the left shoulder, while the hopefully heavy shield was still aimed down trying to block the fake.
