Ren sat down. He patiently awaited a response from Mathius. The young man felt nervous, he had heard from his motherly familiar that Mathius had apparently been in some sort of bad mood, which is why he and Azumi visited Trixie's in order to cheer him up. What he did not expect was the need to clean up the mess Jinx had made.

"Should I make some more cookies?"

"You got any of the music you make? I'd like to hear some..."

He understood Ren's confusion due to never having a father figure in his life. He would then reach up his sleeve and produced a fighting knife. It was near matte-black. He spun it on his hand before presenting it handle first to Ren.

"I think we have plenty, sweet face"

"Ah, no, it's fine really. I was having a sh*try nap anyway."

"Okie."

During her shift, she had gotten bored, and had disappeared into the back. Where she had started to bake pies, and cakes, and any other baked goods

After Jinx had spent a few hours mopping the bathroom like Mathius asked her to, she walked out, and stared right directly at the fourth wall, squinting her eyes at kollisa.
"Do you really not have anything better to do?" Jinx grabbed the mop out of the bucket and smacked the post with it real hard. "Weirdo."

Jinx then put the mop back in the bucket and sighed, "Okay strange guy, I mopped your gross bathrooms... Do you forgive me now?" Jinx looked around, not sure where Mathius was, but was talking to him regardless.

He spoke into Jinx's mind "Yes. I will be in to work shortly"

"THE IMPOSTER IS SUS!"

She brought out the baked goods, displaying them on the counter top, then she took her place by the register. With nothing to do...she was bored

Jinx quickly turned her head around, her eyes widening, trying to find where the voice came from.

Then she quickly turned to someone else, who wasn't there, and gave them an angry look, then rubbed her eyes hardly.

Fumizuki offers Jinx one of the shortbread chocolate chip cookies that she baked.

Jinx looked down at Fumizuki, her eyes still wide, but she softened them upon being offered the cookie.
"Hey... thanks." Jinx gave a small smile, taking the cookie gently.

Just then, a weave of air lifted fumizuki to help her give the cookie to jinx. "You are very kind daughter" but her eyes were on jinx, and they were not too kindly. Not cruel or mean. But weary. "Seems my brother in law has put you to work for your little....stunt"

The food maestro himself walked into the bar and patted Thyra on the back "it's all good now"

It would seem someone very familiar entered Trixie's bar. Well, someone familiar to Ren at the very least. It was detective Kiyo Narukami, one of Ren's childhood friends and his closest other than Finn Skarles. She approached Mathius with a friendly, tired smile. Most people did not know she was a Crane Yokai who took on a human form, but with Mathius' immense knowledge, he might know that already.

"You must be Mathius" Kiyo said "I heard there's this Rebel guy who frequents this bar? I'm here to arrest him"

Ren exited the Comfort Room and saw Kiyo before rolling his eyes.

"Really? Arrest me? When you were the one who broke me out?" He smirked

That broke Kiyo, from a composed detective, she became an easily embarrassed girl

"H-hey, I was j-joking!" She exclaimed "Screw you, dude!"

"That's my line" He facepalmed "Better not give me a reason to spoil that anime you were watching, detective"

"Not cool!" Kiyo scowled.

"I was about to tell you that you aren't resting my so.....my friend's son" he said with a,laugh. He certainly knew that this detective was a yokai. He knew Azumi was probably off chasing her tails. In fact, he was sure of it.

"As long as you say brother" she glided away back to dreal
