"I can see that. Would you like some spare clean clothes to change into?" Gui asked with slight concern while grabbing the key to his room for the night. His adventure was supposed to be short so he only brought a couple changes of clothes.

She smiled at the pair "you two sound like flirting teens at school"

"My wife and I are supposed to be the only cute couple here" he said flatly

"Drael made another joke?! Hey everyone, Drael made a joke!"

"I'm fine. I just need a room to crash in for a bit."

"I can't hardly see how basic decency is flirtation," Gui retorted at Merith. "Let me get you a room, I insist." He pulled out a bull of woolongs and placed them on the counter. "I'll like to get a room for the lady to, how you say it, crash it."

She chuckled "your talking to the wrong person, I deal with drinks and food, not rooms"

"Oh, I assume Mathuis deals with rooms then," he said in disbelief towards a mere mistake. "My memory isn't as good as it used to be."

He gave Gui his key to the room. "It's okay. Merith is just overwhelmed because of an incident"

Her face flushed red "you said you wouldn't tell!" She hugged her chest

"I did not go into any details, did I?"

"So do I get my own room or am I gonna have to share with the kind gentleman?"

"Here. Ladies first," Gui said and handed her the room key. He then decided to sit at the barstool for a little bit of rest.

"Alright then." Karlach heads upstairs.

She shook her head "too close for comfort"

He merely pointed up at a room "go. Take a nap."

"impossible, ive known the man for only a couple weeks but any sense of humor is lost on him."

"Your my dad now too?" She chuckles at her own joke "I think I'm ok for a....oh....ooooh...yea...I'll go do that" she rushed off

"He's made two!"
