He watched Drael and Thyra retire to their room.

"I do not need a sweater, since I generate my own heat…and quite a lot of it."

"Welcome back, Karlach"

"Hi Mathius. What's been going on around here lately?"

"Preparing for New Year's"

The mention of New Years caused Azumi to tumble into the bar, running around due to the excitement of the New Year.

"Happyhappyhappyhappy..." She paused before letting out a squeal of joy

"NEW YEAR!"

He picked Azumi up and put her in the papoose.

"Excuse me mister? Could I get a drink?" She fidgets with her wallet "something to burn on the way down

"Certainly" He walked to the bar and returned with a glass of whiskey.

Karlach waves to Azumi, always amused to see the entertaining fox spirit.

"Thank ya kindly mister" she slid a 20 to him "keep them coming as far as this will cover please" she had a smiling face, but weariness hung heavy in her eyes "got any part time positions?"

"Our waiter just quit...."

Kai walked in an jumped a bit seeing the cow women, he tilted his head not used to seeing someone like this, he wasn't trying to be rude, just...intrigued

"Welcome to Trixie's, sir"

He caught onto his surprise, but he grinned thinking what his reaction would be to Drael, Azumi, Lappland, or any other of his regulars. "How may I serve you?"

Azumi whilst in Mathius' papoose, waved an arm excitedly towards Kai.

"Hello dear friend!" Azumi squealed in joy "Are you here to enjoy the festivities of Trixie's?"

Noticing his stare she commented, "never seen a woman before?" She knocked back another shot with another grimace

"That would be quite silly, considering there's a lot of women in here, sconosciuta (stranger)."
