Olivia then nods at the explanation, a thoughtful look on her face. Pocketing both the card and the slingshot, she went off to go sit down until it was time to go on another delivery.

Sue bot toddled over to Ubba and plopped up on a stool, looking at him with a big smile. "What's a chapter mascot?" she asked - before slamming her fist on the counter! "Ayyyy! Can i get a fireball for lady Sidonia please!"

Sue almost jumped out of her seat!

"Sue bot! Yelling!" she shook her head. "No slamming! It's rude!"

Sue bot giggled and kicked her feet in the air. "Sorry mommy!"

Xueqing was peacefully asleep under the cyan blanket.

Not quite dreaming.

Meanwhile, the boy waved lightly.

The witch hovered over Xueqing while she slept, observing her quietly.

She leaned forward as she sat on her broomstick, though defying gravity as she seemed to be hanging sideways.

As Basil watched Xueqing sleeping - her breath was steady, it seemed, Jingyang watched the skeleton with confusion.
what is going on here

Basil turned to look at the boy. "Hey there~ you watching Xueqing sleep too?"

The overtired Mathius was sat at a table asleep.

Sue smirked as she eyed Mathius across the bar. Licking her lips, she remarked to Ami and Ubba, "Should we let him sleep? I know we want drinks, but... he looks so peaceful~ heh~ unless Fumi is around somewhere?"

Could also be witnessed napping, service cap over his eyes, boots on a table, guards upon sides. The slumber was not entirely restful, war flashbacks no doubt, fingers twitched near the bolt revolver bolstered to his belt. Occasionally he would mutter words.

The... Emperor wills it... no... retreat... hrm... see to it that I am not mocked.

He stretched some before returning to sleep.

"We might want him to sleep, Sue Watanabe. Then she stared when she heard the Lord General speak quietly in his sleep. She waved her hands to the guards to let her close as she found a blanket on him.

"Stay warm, Lord General Aleksandr," she said softly to him as took a seat again.

Sue nodded before Ami went to check on the general. When Ami came back, she was smiling, and already smoking her pipe.

"So, you sure care about the general, huh? That was sweet - putting a blanket on the guy."

Meanwhile...

Sue bot had sneaked over to the sleeping Mathius, as Sue wasn't looking, and started to play with his hair while giggling to herself, hoping he would wake up. She was determined to get lady Sidonia her fireball!

She had blushed a little moment from Sue then returned back to a stern look on her face, "Ahem...Yeah, he gave me a chance!" She nodded as she looked at her Lord General. She knew he was proud of her feats and it will only get better.

She took out a cigarette and started to take a drag off it. "Is there a problem?" she asked quietly as she kept taking drag from her cig.

Sue grinned. "Oooooh... defensive~ you love him~" Sue remarked with a sly tone. "Did i hit the nail on the head~?"

She blushed again. L..ov...e him?" she said as she stutter a little while thinking what Sue said. "No! It's not like that. He is older than me," she said cautiously to not say the wrong words. She hoped the Lord General would wake up soon.

"And you nailed nothing!" she said as she kept smoking her cigarette as her face was flushed still.

"Heh."

She looked at Verity with a stern look on her face. "What was that for?" she asked as she took a drag of her cigarette.

"I'm amused by your floundering denial. You're not doing anyone any favours. At least Nicki over there doesn't try to pretend what she is."
