The tavern door burst open with a loud bang! As a person-sized orange fuzz ball dropped to the floor, it rolled on its back and a pair of black denim jeans flipped up, a hand sprouting from another end and spinning the whole thing around. The fuzz ball happened to be a woman! She pushed off her hand and kicked the swinging door shut before something banged against it! She landed on her feet, fists balled and at the ready. But with a frantic look around, she noticed that there was nothing chasing her anymore!
"Huh?" she gasped. There was nothing but a door... a door that was no longer banging. Whatever was after her must have vanished! "Where did..." unable to finish her sentence, she took another deep breath, before her shoulders lowered. Maybe she finally had a moment of peace! A few more breaths were enough to calm her down, at least until she turned around and noticed a bunch of regular people just standing or sitting around in... a bar? "Whaaa?"
The lady relaxed from her fighting stance, straightening her back and knees, and leaning back a bit on her hips, still wearing a bit of a serious face. She was still panting softly, though appeared to understand she was in the right place to be at ease. "Man, did I just jump dimensions again? Guess I could use a drink..." Her chest heaved while she reached in her coat pocket for a pipe. The kind sailors and old grandpas would smoke. She looked like the business type, with her buttoned-down white dress shirt, red tie, and brown overcoat with the sleeves draped over her shoulders. The fox pelt's fur covered all of that as well, with the animal's face and head adorned directly over the human one. "Can I smoke in here?" she asked the room.

"Absolutely. Welcome to Trixie's. You just so happened to jump here, and this is a multi-universal convergence nexus. You can get here from basically any universe"
"That's... convenient." Sue puckered her lips as she pulled a baggie of wicked herbs out of her other pocket and stuffed it into the pipe. "Suppose I'm the stranger here... I'm Sue. I wouldn't be lying if I said this isn't the first uhh, multi-universal convergence nexus, I've been to. Gotta say it's cozy. But anything beats uh..." She looked back at the door, lighting up and turning back around to face Mathius, "whatever I just got myself out of."
Sue closed her eyes, relaxing more as she inhaled the smoke, her plant crackling gently within the pipe.

"You're welcome to rest here as lonh as you wish"
"Thanks. Sooo... what's your name? And... is Trixie around? How much for a glass of whiskey?"
"He's my Uncle Mathius. As far as Miss Twixie, she disappeared. Mathius and my papa Drael run the place. I'm Fumizuki, I do baking and other tasks." Fumizuki smiles warmly at the newcomer.
He smiled at his daughter
Sue smiles back toward the little Fumi and gives Drael a nod as well. "Aren't you a little talent? I'd love to try one of your pastries if you have any made to order. ~And, let me guess, your pops runs the bar?"
Fumizuki nods. "There's still some coconut bwead left if you want it, Miss."
"Her father is the big guy sitting by the door. I take care of it. We have some grilled pork and coconut bread yiu can have for free"
Sue perked, her pipe emitting a wispy cloud that dispersed in the air. "Free you say? Are the drinks the same?" her free hand fell into her jeans pocket while the other held up the pipe. "I've got uhh, some medieval gold pieces and Halloween candy which is currency in some places. If that's necessary~"
"All forms of currency are accepted here"
"That's... very convenient!" Sue exclaimed through her surprise. She decided to make herself comfortable as she sauntered over to a stool at the bar and took a seat.
"Then one glass of whiskey please, and a slice of coconut bread and a grilled pork well done." She smirked. "And I'll pay with coin, just to be nice."
Then she gave a glance over to Fumizuki. "Buuuut, I wouldn't mind giving a tip to the little baker there." Sue added while she removed a bag of Halloween candy from her inner coat pocket.

Fumizuki smiles adorably. "That would be vewy much apweeciated, Miss." She gives Sue a slice of coconut bread on a plate.
He brought her a glass of whiskey and a plate of tbe homemade barbecue.
Sue smiled at the little assistant, then plopped a baggie in her hand. "Wow, this coconut bread looks delicious! You really are a professional! Thank you!" Then she took out another bag, which was a bit heavier, and jangled lightly when it shook. "Would you bring this over to your daddy for me too sweetheart?"
(o shoot just got ninjad by the bartend)
As Sue was giving Fumi the bags, the food and drink came just as fast. "Wow! Such excellent service! Trixie must be proud of you both." She immediately went for the glass, taking her first sip, followed by her head vibrating. "Ah, that's the spot. Stupendous. My compliments to the chef."

Fumizuki takes the bigger bag over to Drael, then looks through the smaller bag with a happy smile on her face.
He took the bag from Fumizuki "Thank you, sweet face". He started checking the bag
The bag given to Drael was filled with bona-fide gold coins, with some unfamiliar face on them. Even Sue couldn't tell him whose face it was, but she wouldn't look a money horse in the mouth if it was money. As for the baggie given to Fumizuki, it was full of candy! An assortment of individually wrapped chocolates, gummies, and hard candies. Sue eventually gave in to her appetite, finishing the glass of whiskey in a single chug before taking the first bite of her coconut bread. "Ahahaha, maaaaan, what a flavor! Oh my gosh. Whoaaaaa. Did you brine this pork? It's amazing~" She was practically treating the food like a long-lost lover. Meanwhile the fox pelt seemed to emote as well, bobbing around with her tipsy movements, its eyes swirling.
