"Ah, it would seem that the Magos has suffered some sort of overload. The Iron Priests told me there's a simple solution for this." He lightly slaps Harkoth on the back.

A whirring noise comes from the Tech-Priest, and he returns to normal. "Thank you, Astartes Greyhowl. I really need to get those computational shunts refurbished."

"Oh, thanks, I love purple." Micaria smiled at the compliment. "Can I have some blueberry juice?"

"I heard this place had good food. I was going stir crazy. I just needed to get out, Talia" he said as he began looking over the menu. "Are you kidding? A half-pound burger with fries and a drink for $3.50? How do they keep this place open?"

"We get lots of customers, and almost everything in the kitchen is home-grown. We really only have fruits and some raw ingredients delivered. It cuts out alot of overhead. That, and since this place is a multiuniversal converge nexus, we really have no utilities to pay, and we generate our own electricity. That, and Trixie, the very first owner, made it clear to always be reasonable in pricing."

"Careful to not damage him, Brother" he teased as he brought him a large mug of Fenrisian Ale.

Talia grins, “Alright.” She empties the bottle into her glass. “…Just stay low key.”

"I'll bring him a hamburger meal" he said politely before slipping back into the kitchen to cook.

"You got it! Blueberry juice sounds heavenly~" Basil held out a candy glass and whipped up some blueberry juice from the aether. It poured straight into the cup from a blueberry swirl. "Where are you from? Tell me about the magic you command~" she said casually~

"Thank you." Micaria said, accepting the cup. "My name is Micaria, half human half spider demon. I came from a land on the west and I use the magic of Constellations. Simply, I can bring them to life."

"Whoaa!! Can you show me?" Basil leaned toward her with interest! She'd never seen constellations come to life before. "What side of your family is spider?" she asked with a giggle.

Micaria got a bit uneasy when her family was brought up, but was glad to show her magic to Basil.

"Like this." she took out her wand and concentrated. "Roar, Leo!

Then the Lion Constellation briefly manifested in front of her, then the shining orbs of lights representing its stars forming together and morphed into ethereal lion next to Micaria.

"Whoa! That's amazing!" Basil admired the form of the leo, stunned that it actually looked like the constellation. "That's a wonderful talent! Where'd you learn to do that?"

"I have learned it from my mentor Lumina." Micaria explained. "The result of the spell is depeding on the constellation. Some spells like Leo summons the ethereal version of what the constellation is depicting, while others give me specific powers respresented by said constellation. Like Aquila giving me the wings of an eagle or Hercules giving me super strenght."

"What was that sound Magos made?" he was referring to the bluescreen crash tone

"Cogitator input error overload tone, in emulation of ancient Terran archeotech. It is a source of amusement among the Magi of Mars."

He returned to Basil and looked her in the eyes. He noticed her dip her finger into her cup and offer it to him. Without saying anything, he took a sip of her drink, feeling no effect. "Thanks for sharing," he said with a smile on his face. "And of course, I will take it slow," he added, taking another sip. "Interesting... I should be the one asking you for a drink instead." He looked at her, surprised as he contemplated their date. "What does that mean for us then?" he asked, standing in front of her and waiting for her response.

"Thanks, Mathius," he said to Mathius as he moved away from Basil for a moment.
