Hearing the word Spring Festival perked Maomao up:

"Yup." Fumizuki added it to her list of things to make. She was already making some Nanaimo bars, so she decided to make the custard icing layer for those and the butter cream for the cheesecake bars at the same time in order to be more efficient.
"I'm excited for the spwing festival."
"Same here." Maomao slithered up to Fumizuki.
He smiled at Fumizuki
"Yay!"
He started pulling all of the required ingredients.
Theo is asleep on the sofa.
