"He's a land shark. The result of someone who had too much free time in a bio-engineering laboratory. He's got the appetite of an apex predator, but the wholesome temperament of a puppy. It's an…interesting combination. He's also a lot smarter than he looks."
She noted what he said as to what he is and not what he wasn't. "Thanks for that...Definitely will go with bio engineered land shark and not a battlebeast," she said as she catalogs Jeff as so for Aleksandr.
Jeff munches on the piece of meat he was given, making a content noise that almost sounded like purring.
*Nazo yawns and stretches a little, his tentacles also stretching too as he stands up and walks out* welp, no violence, no fun, no chaos, no fun, no lust, no fun~ I’ll just go and find other places to enjoy myself in~ *smirks and then leaves*

" They just got a new menu "
The gruff, raspy voice echoed out in the bar interior as an imposing figure of formidable stature, loomed in a corner, he examined a shot glass before downing the contents with a bitter groan following.
" The House Special is the Emperor's Justice "
He turned, the vicious red glow of his visor tracking targets and running scans, adjusting his own trajectory with a huntsman's pace, like the looming dread of a gavel strike about to announce the final verdict.
" Best Served Cold "

The Lord General acknowledged the new presence, looking to Ami and the other 40k inhabitants,
" My pleasure to introduce Arbitrator Vane to you, a member of the Arbites upon Arpat Primaris who has taken to joining our retinue after the corruption at Hive Olegarius was exposed, his role was pivotal in apprehending those responsible for orchestrating the faults in security which lends to the crisis at Daimiel, unfortunately operating under such corruption was not feasible for facilitating the lex imperialis, therefore he operates under the auspices of the battlegroup's Exsecutio Opsequens Civilis special operations unit for inter-hive operations and intelligence gathering, given the subterfuge, resistance and unsanctioned xenos cooperation that has been frequent in the Arpat Sector, the battlegroup decided it is pertinent to create it's own force to ensure appropriate enforcement and execution of the law, the highest echelons whom once reveled in their immunity will now find themselves hounded should they err in their judgement... the only acceptable compromise for corruption, whether within or beyond our reaches, is extermination without lenience "

"Nice to meet you, Vane. My name is Sister Arpatia. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance."
She studied him as she poured more scotch in her glass and started to drink it. She knew of the battle, but had no part in it. Had she been there as a Sister, she would have had no issues against the greenskins. She now hated them with a fiery passion.
"So why are you here, Vane?" she asked casually as she studied him up and down a bit.
An honor, Sister.
Vane's response was to-the-point and still, with a cold sort of discipline, the red visor glow upon her as if he was discerning her as much as she was studying him, she followed with a question, and for a moment there was a discomforting silence that held between the two, before Vane spoke.
"There is a strange honesty in a battlefield. You know who to shoot. In the Hive, everyone wears the same skin. Excising the enemy within requires a different kind of disposition, one that understands the law does not discriminate when a genestealer wears the mask of a child, when a hive scummer peddles critical information to xenos agents for a few thrones and a hot meal, when the hivelord sits content upon his pedestal convinced the law has turned the blind eye owing to his generosity. It is the Emperor's law which is the final verdict to the enemies of man which dwell within and not beyond our holds. I am an Arbitrator, I am what the Emperor delivers when the stench of corruption becomes intolerable and cannot be excised through conventional means, I am his Judgement made manifest... that is why I am here."

He was working on an X-wing lego set, not paying any mind to the new guy. Bro was too focused on carefully following the instructions.

" I believe this specimen is a stowaway of sorts, he seems to be the pup of a battlebeast utilized by the Carcharodons chapter, but I have yet to confirm with Lord Greystorm "
He added pointing to Jeff.
"The Red Wake would adore that little Megalodon creature, Lord General."
He looked at Thor and growled flashing his fangs
He dropped into a play bow and took off with zoomies still. He leapt and was able to land in Ubba's arms.
Caelar issued a hoarse laugh.
I was not referring to you Mathius, The Lord General briefed me about the specifics of this place, I am an officer of the Imperial Law, I intend to keep my composure. This speakeasy provides a dimensional barrier that is strong enough to prevent infiltration, it benefits us for secrecy.

"I'm sure he informed you that the Imperium is welcome here, but there is no fighting, and before you ask, Drael isn't an Astartes"
he gestured to Drael who was sitting by the door.
"Anyway, let me make you a cup of coffee, or recaf as it's called"

Much too late for Recaf, perhaps something to soothe the spirits, your Amasec comes highly recommended. Drael? No, no Astartes here save for Lord Greystorm, visual range scanners didn't pick anything up.
He issued a nod to Mathius, taking off his helmet as the Visor powered off, easing off once he got a shot of Amasec.

"That is great. We do need more in the fold. And to know the Lord General trusts you is definitely what makes me trust you as well. What say has so far happened on the battlefield? Any heretics needing smite? Perhaps some time I could join you, Vane," she said coldly back as she took another drink of the scotch. It was as though he knew them all. But obviously how he said it was due to Aleksandr briefing him on them all. She was okay with that because she, too, would love to know someone before even coming into a establishment such as this one. She had definitely not seen what he looked like until now. Just a average human, but obviously he had the skills to fight off anything.
"Mathius, I would love some recaf," she called out when Vane declined it. She did love some coffee, or what they would call recaf there where they come from. But originally she was not from there until now.
