Alexandria drank the coffee as she looked at Maomao with a cold stare. "The only ones to meet my gun are the ones against the Imperium."
"I usually keep my things to myself, unless someone asks for my services." Maomao said. "Also, can you tell me more about the Imperium?"
"Sounds fair. We both agree on that..." she said to Maomao as she heard the next question about the Imperium. "It's a interstellar empire crossing the vast universe which expands many planets. It was founded by the Emperor of Mankind." She looked at Maomao a little before saying, "Anything else? Maybe a history of the Emperor?"
"Hmm, the history of the emperor sounds intriguing. Please tell me about it."
"He is the immortal deity of our universe. He guides us from the darkness," she explained shortly as she took another drink of her coffee. "I will try to answer accordingly as well as I can. Maybe my home world..." she said as she sat there thinking about home.
"An immortal deity that guides people out of darkness..." Maomao remarked as she thought about it. She wanted to ask Aleaxandria about her homeworld, but seeing her reaction told her that maybe she should leave that out.
"Yes. We serve him into battle as we chant his name," she said to Maomao as she thought about other things. "Anything else?"
"Clarifying addendum: interpretation of the Emperor's divinity is subjective. Example: the Mechanicus consider him as the avatar of our machine god, the Omnissiah."
"So I have heard..." she said to Harkoth as she stared in his direction. "I am wholly positive you were one of the Tech Priests that was present when I lost my left arm," she told Harkoth quietly as she tried to remember her youth.
"Indexing theoretical…[binharic squawk]…negative. As a Magos Dominus, I am rarely involved in such procedures. My specialty lies in the command of battle-automata, combat servitors, and Electro-Priests. You would be better off consulting with an Artisan or Magos Biologis."
She sighed and could only nod. "Seems I am off about you," she said to Harkoth. "I know neither. "What brings you here? Examining information on me?" she curiously questioned Harkoth about his reasoning for being here.
"Parsing interrogative. Stand by." He begins making noises that sound like a dial-up modem if it was auto-tuned.
"Interrogative parsing complete. In short, I am here as part of a Mechanicus research team looking for archeotech here in the Arpar Sector."
She felt like Harkoth was analyzing her. It wasn't an issue for her because her past and present constantly intertwine. "So..." she softly said as she kept a straight face while she watched Harkoth closely.
"I have answered your inquiries, Sister. Unless you found my answer unsatisfactory, in which case I apologize for being unable to disclose further information for reasons of security."
She looked at Harkoth with a serious demeanor as she sat there satisfied with his answers. "It's fine...I am sure it is for the best some questions not be answered," she told Harkoth in a soft yet subtle tone to her voice. "I have my own classified information to keep as well," she told Harkoth finally. She awaited for more as this was a interesting conversation.
"Duly noted."
"Then this concludes our conversation?" she asked Harkoth as she lost interest really quick.
"Affirmative. I will be disengaging communication in this wretched organic flapping." He makes more dial-up noises.
She looked at the Tech Priest as she sat there listening to his weird noises again as she went quiet for a moment. "Great...what a conversation that was..." she said as she looked around to see if there was someone she recognized from the Imperium.
