He pushed his way inside and removed his helmet and dropped it, his knife, and his pistols into the weapons box. He draped his jacket over Harley and sat at the booth quietly and lounged.
Harley smiled and wrapped the jacket around herself. He would not be getting this back. It was canon to the story that it now belonged to her.
He'd entered the bar with an expression akin to that of annoyance as he squinted around at the cacophony of voices within the domicile. He'd been sure he was floating somewhere in the in between. Without a body, even as he tried to reclaim the planet...had he failed? Did he plumet to some unknown waste just to be left and forgotten?! Depression surged through him. He didn't want that. He quickly jumped as a waitress brushed past him, eyes blown wide at the sudden acknowledgement. "Sorry sir," The smaller of the two laughed nervously. "It's kind of busy in here. But feel free to find a seat among the others and get comfortable." She quickly left before he could ask for an explanation as to what the hell was going on. Or atleast get an order in so he could take the edge off.
Moving to the bar, he jumped at the strange shark creature and the young lady with strangely colored hair. She was intelligent, kept referring to someone called 'Mistah J'. And next to her, he presumed a companion, was a young man who'd draped his jacket over her shoulders. His build was all too familiar. Ready for combat.
"Can I get you somethin', boss?" Sephiroth looked up calmly, doing his best to conceal the overstimulation and underlying tempest surging through his veins. And with a smile, he nodded. "A water, please." He didn't particularly have any money, so he couldn't really pay for food or drinks. His brow furrowed. These people mentioned the multiverse a couple of times now. Could his powers...he looked down and steadied his hand below the counter, focusing on a faint black and purple mist. Yet all he could come up with was a soft crackle of energy. A tap on the surface before him brought him away from his focus and he jumped. He guessed that settled that.
Here he was corporeal.
He'd better start acting like it.

(OOC: Okay, that was amazing writing and all but WHY THE HELL IS SEPHIROTH IN A BAR????)

Medicus had long since abandoned the idea of participating in the conversations around him.
The physician sat alone in the corner booth, a leather-bound notebook open across his lap, pen scratching steadily across the page as he documented observations of the strange establishment and its even stranger occupants.
Medicus watched him for several seconds over the rim of his glasses. The man flinched when spoken to. Flinched at everything. Not fearful, just disoriented.
He closed his notebook with a soft snap.
After a moment he rose from his booth, crossing the room with measured steps before stopping beside the bar.
» “Forgive the intrusion. I couldn’t help but notice you appear somewhat displaced.”
His voice was calm, professional.
» “As someone who has awakened in unfamiliar places more times than I'd care to count, I can assure you that attempting to determine whether you're dead, dreaming, hallucinating, or suffering some form of interdimensional psychosis is rarely productive..”
A beat. Then he extended a gloved hand.
» “Medicus.”

(OOC: Ahh, I see! But honestly, I found it funny that everyone is chill and then Sephiroth just comes into the bar with no problem lol)
Jeff sniffs Sephiroth, then backs away whining. Something about the newcomer had clearly spooked the little land shark.
(OOC: Given that it's in a multiverse, I'm sure they've seen weirder. My guess is, it's like a hospital with drinks instead of medical supplies. Or New York City.)
/ooc (NEW YORK CITY 😭 yeah id imagine)

Medicus didn't recoil at the admission.
In fact, the declaration that Sephiroth had been dead earned less of a reaction than most people would have expected. The physician merely regarded him over the rim of his glasses, his expression settling into one of thoughtful consideration. It was not disbelief. Nor was it sympathy. If anything, it was the look of a man filing away a particularly unusual detail for later examination.
> "Dead," he repeated quietly, as though testing the word for flaws. "You know, I used to be dead. Twice, actually. Quite a coincidence."
His gaze drifted briefly to the glass of water in Sephiroth's hand before returning to the former hero's face. The hesitation. The caution. The subtle tension lingering beneath every movement. Medicus had seen it before. Not the exact shape of it, certainly, but enough variations to recognize it when it appeared.
> "And either way, I've encountered.. stranger situations."
"...Sephiroth's here too, huh?"

"I take it you know him?"
(OOC: I swear, everyone uniting is legit reminding me of Avengers Endgame. I swear to myself if Joker from Persona 5 appears in this bar, I’m going to flip out.)
"I have for a long time." Yet, following the rules, despite any PTSD caused by Sephiroth, Cloud didn't attack him.
